I will start off with this little gem

www.spcmoray.com/property.php?id=8984

It looks more like a sauna than a kitchen! I feel dizzy, those horizontals ew!

Show me something as bad or worse than this :)

(and apologies to the owner if you are reading this Blush )

I've priced it for development Foof and even at the low price of 6.500 there is no profit, not even a good rental return and in the area it is you would take your life in your hands being a LL there!

I quite like the bathrrom in that house but what on earth id the fireplace about????/

FoofFighter · 06/06/2012 20:37

Mme i hope whoever buys it eventually will keep the elephant :)

you would end up having a mental breakdown knocking your arse on that sink every time you went through that door.

Lovely house though.

oreocrumbs · 06/06/2012 20:52

Thats a really sweet little house! Not sure how even one person could cook in that kitchen. You would have to give up the cream cakes if you lived there Grin.

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 20:53

The view at the back of that Macclesfield house looks lovely.

FoofFighter · 06/06/2012 20:57

That's a very cute cottage, really like it even though I would end up sitting in the sink several times a day!

MmeLindor. · 06/06/2012 20:59

That is a gorgeous cottage.

You would have to take a wall out and make it an open plan living/kitchen/dining room, to make it work.

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 21:01

That's what I thought MMe - they should have made it a open plan jobby.

Because you would have permanent bruises on your hip bones with that sink there.

DorothyGherkins · 06/06/2012 21:22

Yes, I thought open plan was the way to go! Apparently its been up for sale a few times, and the tiny kitchen is always the killer.

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 21:24

Perhaps it is listed so they can't knock the walls down.

Oh my! Do you think the crucifix on the door is to contain the evilness inside?

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 06/06/2012 21:39

like living under some railway arches

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 21:43

Hilly that railway arches kitchen is hideous.

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 06/06/2012 21:45

People really do do some bonkers things don't they? Confused There sought to be some sort of law against it.

HerMajestyQueenHillyzabethII · 06/06/2012 21:46

ought

GetDownNesbitt · 06/06/2012 21:46

You could pay me £17k a day and I still wouldn't live in Easington

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 22:12

Crikey is is that bad?

For 17K a day I'd live in most places. Grin

oreocrumbs · 06/06/2012 22:15

Ho yes its that bad. There is a reason you can buy a whole house for £6,500!

Full renovated you probably wouldn't break the £30k mark on it, and I meant it when I said you take your life in your hands trying to rent it out.

GitAwfMayLend · 06/06/2012 22:19

So all done up it would be worth only 30K? Christ. And then scary tenants?

I have never been to that part of the world.

oreocrumbs · 06/06/2012 22:25

You wouldn't break the 30k. I once had a house I rented out in horden, just up the road. For clarity DP and I are not easily phased, we have a city centre pub, we move in mixed circles and bugger me we sold up fast Grin. I bought that house because it was peanuts and I thought how bad can it be? 'Twas bad!

Its not a bad part of the world, the neighbouring towns and villages are quite nice, some of the near by places are lovely, but there are pockets of absolute poverty, and crime. And if you are not local (and I mean local to only that village) you can not live there!

Easington used to be the worst place to live in the uk, but I think its been moved up a few places now!

oreocrumbs · 06/06/2012 22:27

This one has been done up

DamselInDisgrace · 06/06/2012 22:36

Stunning, I'm sure you'll agree.
