How much more is it to get removals people to pack as well? Any feedback on whether it's a good idea appreciated.

Depends what else you've got going on and how soon your moving. I moved with a newborn PFB and I def needed it.but I packed my own undies as felt weird about that
IIRC it wasn't that much more to get them to pack for you, but you do need to make sure that they label well. We had 20 boxes labelled kitchen but no idea whether it was tins of beans/baking trays or crockery. [grr]
