instant hot water tap

Anyone got an instant / steaming hot water tap in their kitchen? Are they any good? I don't know anyone who has got one even though they have been around for ages, is that because there is some problem with them i'm missing? Perhaps they are expensive to run? Any advice appreciated...

We've got one in our new kitchen and love it. We went for a quooker and really pleased with it. Makes cooking much quicker, especially with an induction hob. Definitely recommend.

Thanks for that, will look up the quooker ones. A few questions, do you have to replace the filter often and is it expensive? Also do you still need to have a regular hot water tap for things like washing your hands or do they adjust? We are having a double butler sink so only room for one faucet

Thanks!

Blimey, £550, is that typical?

There seems to be massive prive variation, this one is about £230 www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Satin-Nickel-Lead-Free-Instant-Hot-Water-Dispenser-and-Heating-Tank/5072921/product.html
but the Quooker one is £850! It does look nice though....
