I am interested in seeing the repayment part as well - i.e similar to the mortgage company produces for you detailing how much of the actual capital you are repaying a year after taking up mortgage on a fixed rate

try looking for amortising a loan - US sites tend to provide these calculations or excel does have an calculator.

I find Karl's mortgage calculator good, because it shows you in a graph as well as in figures. It has lots of options you can vary too (e.g. over-payments, shortening term etc)
Ignore the dollar sign though! Grin
