what do you make of these?

www.michaeljones.co.uk/property-howard-road-west-sussex-lan120122-full.html

picture of our back garden looks a bit poor to me....

but the lounge looks nice. wish i'd remembered to tidy the radio out of the kitchen...seems rather brief too, though i think they say they don't want the whole house shown as they want people through the door.

I can't get either link at the beginning to work, I just get their main page, has it been taken down?

EdlessAllenPoe · 28/03/2012 21:02

They have been taken down, and we have just approved the second draft which includes much of what has been mentioned - has pictures of 'downland views' mentions all the things here....

doesn't show our dining area. i am debating a slightly larger table to 'stage' the room.

Pictures are much better.

Good luck with the sale.

NewHouse · 30/03/2012 11:31

Much better.

I would still bring down the height of those front shrubs, lovely bright pictures of the front, and fields.

It is a shame that the lights were not put on in the bedroom, it looks very dark.

crikeybadger · 30/03/2012 12:45

Wow, those are so much better- hope you have offers flooding in soon.

QOD · 30/03/2012 16:07

Can we see?

crikeybadger · 30/03/2012 16:08

QOD- if you go back to OP's original link, the new pics are there.

QOD · 30/03/2012 16:16

Nope, just takes me to the website in general, what am I doing wrong?

crikeybadger · 30/03/2012 17:20

this is it I think

QOD · 30/03/2012 17:44

Nope, just to the web site again

crikeybadger · 30/03/2012 17:48

ok let's try rightmove

hippoCritt · 30/03/2012 17:57

Amazing difference! Doesn't look like the same back garden and front photo looks like a home rather than a what is lurking behind bushes wonder.

Good luck

It is a shame that the lights were not put on in the bedroom, it looks very dark.

many tweaks that i would have done were not done because i was at work whilst these photos were taken (DH was there)- (i was also going to unplug the telly and push it back against the wall as the wiring looks messy)

still i think these will get people through the door! We had a viewing on thursday, they liked this one instead... shabby chic palace

OP posts:
EdlessAllenPoe · 30/03/2012 19:28

though they were positive about our house.

this one is probably the most similar onein the location, though this has been on 3 months now...

EdlessAllenPoe · 30/03/2012 19:30

i have a plan to send in DH to generally tame the garden a bit better, needs doing anyway.

he will at least trim my front bushes :) they've got slightly too big for the intended purpose...(however much i like privacy, they are just encroaching on the view from my head height)

NewHouse · 30/03/2012 19:38

I wonder if the wig type thing hanging from the shower, in the second house could by why 3 months!

EdlessAllenPoe · 30/03/2012 20:26

i think that one is tenanted, and not having a bath will put people off.. also back garden not private at all.

QOD · 31/03/2012 09:55

Much much better! I'd buy it
