Where in the country are you? Are prices holding, going up or down?

lilymaid you must be near me

SW London/Surrey borders - nearly always buoyant and currently rising. I am never complacent though - we've had a few wobbles

What is Buckinghamshire like?

We sold our house for 3% under what we bought it for 7 years ago (Put it on the market for what we paid for it). We bought for 6.7% under the asking price on our new house, which had been on the market for 18 months with no price reduction.

We bought our house for 8% under asking in December last year.

Asking prices around here are holding steady but I know there is a variation (from friends selling up) as to whether they are getting close to that or not. A lot more has sold in the last month than in the last year altogether - surprising as they are not FTB type houses!
