Friend looking for houses sent me this link:

here

(hope link works!)

Really, do they really think this is how to present a house for sale?

That bathroom is amazing!

They obv like the carpeted-step look :)

And that bathroom would def take work to 'adjust to your own tastes' with an already hefty price tag.

I had to show DH that bathroom. And I delved a little deeper to look at the floorplan (never seen a bathroom that big to be honest!) and have you seen the floorplan? They actually converted one of the bedrooms into that bathroom (cos there's a smaller one right next to it Hmm, wonder if it's a mini-me? Grin). They must LOVE their baths!!!!!!!! And btw, how do you get out of the bath without getting the bathroom wet?!!!

Mirage · 24/03/2011 21:17

That bathroom is the worst thing I've ever seen. However,in our last house our bathroom was roughly 17ft x 15ft,so a similar size.We didn't have a sarcophagus though.

LaurieFairyCake · 24/03/2011 21:22

My house is probably as cluttered as that.

Fucking eBay.

verysomething · 24/03/2011 21:28

Everyone's taste is different, and you should never be ashamed to say that someone's house is actually (how to put this nicely Hmm) an abomination in the eyes of god and man Grin

Yah boo sucks to lalalonglegs.

Angel My DP tried to do work (and couldn't) to the meter in that house, he said it's now worse in that pic than when he was there a couple of years ago.

angel1976 · 24/03/2011 21:48

squashedfrogs So does the owner not pay any bills then if the meter doesn't work? He might be on to something there! Wink

MerylStrop · 24/03/2011 22:44

hell, at least these houses look loved and lived in

the ivy house is like an artwork! very funny

squashedfrogs · 24/03/2011 22:44

I don't know whether his meter works but if it does they might have trouble trying to take a reading from it!

mrshotrod · 01/04/2011 22:11

Brilliant. Have got to save this to show my bloke next time he mentions/berates my 'clutter'. Hey, at least you can see that we have walls.
My Aunties house is a bit like this. She downsized her house, but couldn't bare to get rid of anything in the move.
I don't doubt there are a lot of sentimental items there and I hope they find a new home that will house them just as well. I would be a little daunted about packing it all up!

mrshotrod · 01/04/2011 22:20

Oh dear. I feel so mean......but that is soooo funny. Pregnant tummy shaking with giggles. This could be a brilliant new hobby. Best Right Move finds.
Lets be honest, it's just 'Big Fat Gypsy Wedding', 'How Clean is Your House' and all those other 'You're so weird' TV shows. Slightly guilt feeling, but harmless fun.
Someone post another......

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 03/04/2011 08:22

Shock at that green bathroom, that's fantastic.

That ivy house made me feel quite sad though, I would suspect the owner has a few issues and can't keep on top of things. The other houses do at least look loved and happy.
