Turnred on hotwater tap and zilch , though cold water still coming for now

Odd set up hotwater is by oil boiler which is not locate din the house is located in converted stand alone garage/workshop about 15 foot from house ( rented property and cant get into boiler till later as workshop is part of the breakdown yard) and then heats the hotwater and pumps to the house .
Heating is working so not that so guessing its the pipes outside that are frozen anything can do to defrost them ther eunder patio

Or do i just have to pray for a thaw soon
