Do you have an electric shower and would you recommend it?

I am looking to buy an electric shower (it has to be electric as opposed to a boiler one) and don't know what to buy.

Am I right in thinking a high wattage = better shower? Should we get a 9.5 or 10.5kw?

What types / makes of shower are good? Any good recommendations?

High wattage better...problem with electric showers is that they have to slow the water down to heat it and you notice the fall off in water speed in the winter. Higher wattage slows the water down less but can still be unsatisfactory. Is a thermostatic shower out of thge question? Mira thermostatic ones are reasonable value and good performance.
