got £198 quids worth - 2 dresses, 2 jumpers, one cami, jumper for dh

Dresses were still dear - £47 and £53 but I couldn't afford them when they were 80 quid each

fatzak · 03/07/2009 07:58

Well not a thing for 7 year old boys
Ordered a couple of dresses for me but know already they won't fit so will be going back!!

SoupDragon · 03/07/2009 08:00

Still overpriced and cr*p this year. Much nice stuff elsewhere IMO.

Maclaren · 03/07/2009 08:00

ok went back and got Tom a few sweaters so spent £38 they just dont have anything in my boy's sizes

I may have to go to the shop!

really couldn't find much for the dds at all (first year that has happened)

did get dd2 a couple of baby bits, btu am lucky she is so small for that (she's 2.5 but still wears 12-18 months for some things!)

oftenpurple · 03/07/2009 08:03

Wow, nothing I wanted at all, for any of us! Saved me a fortune

plusonemore · 03/07/2009 08:03

just ordered this on a whim (i went on to look at boys stuff) for annoversary meal. Slightly worried about sizing- havent ordered for myself before, and am very booby- will it be ok dya think?

plusonemore · 03/07/2009 08:03

also said low stock- will i get it?

spicemonster · 03/07/2009 08:10

Well spent £160 which will end up being about £30 when I send back everything I've ordered for me and just keep the stuff for my DS

poorbuthappy · 03/07/2009 08:11

was dissappointed to be honest. Found 3 things for dd1, total cost £50 and she didnt really like it, so didn't buy...

traceybath · 03/07/2009 08:13

Well ordered a few bits for the children, cardigan for myself and some socks for DH.

About £180 but expect half will go back

Podrick · 03/07/2009 08:13

I have bought nothing which is a good job as I put in a big order for autumn preview stuff for dd!

motherpi · 03/07/2009 08:13

A fair amount left in babies, so got dd a couple of dresses and a cardie, and ds a few tops.

MadameCastafiore · 03/07/2009 08:13

I just can't spend any money (DH will be pleased!) am going to another Town Hall Sale in October and some of the stuff that is in the sale was at the last one I went to at least 50% cheaper!

fatzak · 03/07/2009 08:15

I've ordered that dress too plusonemore in the purple floral. I'm also very booby so have ordered a bigger size as the last Boden dress I tried was so tight! I despair of finding a dress to fit - once tried almost every dress in Monsoon sans success!!

norksinmywaistband · 03/07/2009 08:16

Got the dress I wanted for dd but that is it, very poor show this year methinks

plusonemore · 03/07/2009 08:19

its beautiful isnt it fatzak? I know what you mean, i too try on most things in monsoon without success! i'm between a 16 and 18 so went for 18, fingers crossed the jersey bit makes it a bit stretchy...

ihavenosecrets · 03/07/2009 08:21

I'm thinking of getting a top. Do they come up big or small for adults?

WhereTheWildThingsWere · 03/07/2009 08:30

Most things come up small, which top?

expo · 03/07/2009 08:36

Got loads of stuff for the kids for next summer. Shorts for £10 each for DS - 3 pairs - that will keep him going all next summer, couple of cardigans for DD - the silver one is gorgeous - had it this year and it goes with everything so chuffed picked that up in sale. Towelling hooded tops for both of them, 3 t-shirts for DS. Trousers for both of them plus other stuff. The whole lot came to £200 - pretty much the majority of both of their summer wardrobes for next year. Feeling very smug!

Wheelybug · 03/07/2009 08:38

I overslept this morning and almost forgot but there wasn't actually much I wanted this time.

No baby stuff sadly - all the 0-3 is sold out which is a bit disappointing. Got dd1 some nighties and a skirt and dh a polo shirt. Notihng for me as 16 weeks post birth and fatter than I want to be .
