Boots 75% sale again!

The 75% sale did not start today in my area and staff claim not to know when it will start.

Anyone any inside info?

I was going to write to complain as I was very angry at the time but have moved on since then and decided life is too short.

Small world saltire . I don't tend to go into Fareham often, but it is a bit closer to me than Southampton/Winchester/Portsmouth and I had to fit in the trip during DD1's preschool session. No mean feat in less than 2.5 hours!

Popped into boots today and got 4 Birthday gifts, two pairs of slippers and a toy for my DD, It came to £20.34!!!!

I saved £53!!! Fantastic

Bought £29 worth of stuff yesterday for only £9.23
My local Boots hadn't put up the '75% off' sign up yet, so most people just walked past without knowing about it...

Managed to place an order yesterday lunchtime online. Got 12 presents for DDs school friends birthdays, and 2 presents for DDs for £45 instead of £200ish.

Why cant I still get online, thats a joke to advertise a sale and then ditch ur website so people cant buy for 3 days!!

Is it coming back online at all? It read like it wasn't to me.

I am assuming not! Gave up with the stupid sale - no bargain could be worth that much hassle!

Thanks Tracey. I think a lot of people spent a lot of time (me [wink) putting items in to their baskets for it just to crash so it caused some frustration at the time. But its good to come on here and apologise

hi when i went to my local boots store a couple of days ago now, everyone was going mad pushing and shoving they then put a wire fence up for the staff to put the new products out and in the end the called the police at which time i was not there, i got told be one of the staff the next day why do people go so mad

Has it ever been like this in previous years???!! I don't remember it being crazy.

It wasn't like this last year. I went online & ordered bits for my DS's birthday with no problems. It was when they had the 75% off sale too. Have also ordered bits from their summer sale. Sometimes the site is slow & sticky, but nowhere near as bad as it's been this year. They have never abandoned their online sale before now.

I tend to always have problems on there site anyway,i spent 2 hours adding stuff to my basket to have stuff removed,not added etc so i ended up just going instore
