Boots 75% sale again!

The 75% sale did not start today in my area and staff claim not to know when it will start.

Anyone any inside info?

It's only Christmas things being reduced to 75%, good though if you are going present shopping. I am going to get my staff discount on top of that 75%, so I am going in on my day off!

Most of the good stuff is sld out!

Try going into your local store if you can, they will have a lot of stuff left

It was the swap top work bench thingy. Have seen sense and read some reviewws which are not so good LOL.

Ok, I would have had a look at work for you, but I'm not sure what it is and the stores don't stock as many toys as the online store does!

Well I am back. I got £103 worth of stuff for £20.83, including my staff discount. it was chaotic though. There was 1 woman who had 8 of those big blue bags that Boots ahve. She was cramming stuff int ehm and clearing the shelves of some products. She had 15 of the number 7 nail kits, and 15 of the mediterranena gift sets. I just stood open motuhed. She had her firend standing guard over the bags, while she ran round the shop, filling her bags. I heard her say at one point "I need 12 of those Elle McPherson gift sets, and ther is 12 on the shelf, you'll have to deter anyone else form choosing them"

Thanks for the heads up. Was going into town today anyway but would not have gone upstairs in Boots. Was very careful and bought for specific birthdays and a few 'girls' presents to keep. 10 items for £16 saving me £50! Much appreciated.

Thanks for that - managed to pop out this morning after dropping ds1 at school, nad now have enough bits to cover birthdays/mothers days/fathers days/end of year presents for teacher, etc to last the rest of the year - even some male ones (wooden boxes of 4 malt whisky miniatures for £4.89). And a few bits for myself too.

Their site is down now! Never known the site this bad at sale time! Our local boots is tiny so there won't be much worth buying there.

phew that was exhausting and I feel I will go back aghain as I missed stuff - soooooooooo many people in there at 9am!

Spent £35 on £140 of stuff.

Bloody nora - it is worth the fight in store.
I got a Ruby and Millie red cosmetic case, full of make up and brushes reduced from £75 to £50 and today it was £15 !

I bought loads of stuff - LOADS of stuff and it was under £30.

I am going to put some by for next years xmas stockings

I was very impressed at Fareham store.

No advertising until you got in-store, so no massive rush of queues. Loads of branded stuff: Ruby & Millie, Accessorize, No7, FCUK, Elle McPherson, Goodworks(?), Hackett, Toni & Guy, etc.

ALL Xmas gifts 75% off.

I happened to be in Fareham today because I needed to get some presents, & was stressed because even with a small budget of £10 per person, I had £60 worth of presents to buy this month. Not much money.

I managed to get enough presents to cover the YEAR, with the exception of 2 specific presents, for £50. Over £200 worth of branded stuff. Chuffed!

LOL their sites crashed now!

Site has been down for ages! Tried to get online this morning before work, but it had no joy, and by midday the site had crashed totally! Don't remember it being this bad last year!
