OverMyDeadBody · 06/04/2008 13:53

Any codes for £50 shops?

Please?

MrsBadger · 07/04/2008 12:30

overmydeadbody, you do know you don't need to spend £90 to use the £90 code, don't you?

book a slot, fill your basket with £90 of stuff (I do 10 big boxes of washing powder) and check out with the code.

Then log back in and do 'change my order', delete all the washing powder, do your normal shopping and hit 'confirm changes'.
Even if the new total is less than £90 the code is still applied when they bill you.

obv this works for any 'spend more than £x' code - just make sure the initial shop is more than the threshold.

MamaG · 07/04/2008 12:32

oh REALLY mrsB? Ididn't know that, will def do it next week!

DJCod · 07/04/2008 12:33

VictorianSqualor · 07/04/2008 12:33

Ooooh Badger!

MrsBadger · 07/04/2008 12:36

you MUST remember to remove the expensive stuff though

else dh will bang on the door of the shower shouting 'Wilhelmina WHY have we bought so much champagne? Is there something you're not telling me?'

hence my preference for wahsing powder from then on

MamaG · 07/04/2008 13:22

MrsB have you DONE this and got away with it? I'm a bit sceptical

MrsBadger · 07/04/2008 13:24

MamaG · 07/04/2008 13:45

14/04 until 20/04 - XXH3D2 - £7 OFF £70 as above

All still working

treacletart · 08/04/2008 21:01

Mrs Badger you star! I added an expensive bottle of champagne to get me over £90, used the code and got £9 off, put the bubbly back and the code still worked! Got my shopping tonight - You're a marvel! It's so sneaky I might even feel a bit guilty (if it weren't Tesco I were fooling).

UniversallyChallenged · 08/04/2008 22:00

Just make sure you check the bottom of the confirmation email as i have put codes on, they have been accepted, then i notice taken off at the bottom of the email - it happened with some free organic milk i ordered a couple of weeks ago

meemar · 09/04/2008 13:28

XX-J3YR £6 of £60 still working
