Just wondering as mine is an hour (sometimes just over) and I am wondering if I am slightly mad!

70 minutes round trip on foot. Highly enjoyable, and burns off their energy!

5 mins each way

I would LOVE to move closer to the school! Unfortunately we bought the shithole off MIL and we will struggle to sell, we are in neg equity at the moment and haven't got a chance in hell of selling it. I hate it, it gets me down. did I mention I HATE it!

ooh bootoyou yes you need to get a little hot coffee concession there or yes hot chestnuts.

Our jnrs are out 5 mins after the inf which is about right - inf usually 5 mins late anyway but then so are jnrs

about 50mins round trip by car but that's 2 at 2 different primary schools miles away.

20 mins to get to school if we leave at 8.10am but if we leave at 8.20am it takes us 30 mins. I prefer to get there early and do spellings in the car. I then drive to work - about 10/15 mins depending on traffic

45 mins to get to school in the morning by car share so I only have to do it once a week.

DD1 comes homes by bus which takes 1 hour 15 mins due to ludicrous route through every possible village.

School is 20 miles away.

DD2 currently takes 5 mins but actually moving her to the far distant school from Year 5 as benefits outweigh disadvantage of journey.

Know it is madness but (a) love living here in back end of beyond and (b) school is 176 days a year which leaves 189 days at home with zero travelling so that puts it a bit more in perspective.
