Any primary teachers around who are willing to help a secondary teacher please?

I've been googling in an increasingly futile manner, trying to find the primary school spelling banks, that were published for each year iirc. Does anybody happen to know where I can find them please? Tia.

Google NLS Spelling Bank. It's only for KS2

Don't know if this link will work, it can be downloaded as a PDF.

Thanks Goblin. I found that already and I don't think it's what I'm after. They used to publish a spelling list for all years from reception onwards I think.

Goblinchild · 06/07/2009 22:21

Oh, do you mean from the original literacy strategy, back in the day when Literacy hour first came in? With everything divided up into 10 and 15 minute timed sections?

45 reception words, list for Y1/2 and then specific spelling rules for the rest of KS2?
So old-fashioned Daahhhrrrling, that's not new and shiny any more. Wouldn't you rather have the latest gimmick?

popsycal · 06/07/2009 22:23

did you find them

janeite · 06/07/2009 22:23

Yep - the old-fashioned stuff please! It's for using with Yr 7 pupils who are below L2 on entry.
