Is it for schools?

MrsMopple · 31/03/2009 16:10

Poor you - you live in the wrong county. We got ours yesterday and were very happy with the contents. And got the letter this morning. Sorry, that doesn;t help you much, does it? Hope you get the school that you want

No Riven, don't worry its only if you are waiting on allocation of Reception places for primary school. I'm in Kent.

bangandthechocolateeggisgone · 31/03/2009 16:16

AnnieSham, emails are only if you did the application online. If you did hard paper copies you'll get a letter tomorrow.

AnnasBananas · 31/03/2009 16:19

I feel sick, too. Obsessively refreshing my email in the hope it will come up. Why the hell do they say 4pm then leave you hanging??

Arrrggghh!!

bangandthechocolateeggisgone · 31/03/2009 16:20

No, the ers are keeping us waiting - I'll be straight on here to let you all know as soon as I get the email. (Best phone DH first though )

AnnasBananas · 31/03/2009 16:21

AnnasBananas · 31/03/2009 16:22

Think the children won't get any tea unless I step away from the laptop...

bangandthechocolateeggisgone · 31/03/2009 16:22

Yes ok i will too Annas, you do the same? Riven are you expecting an email too?

OP posts:
AnnieShamrockInYourEar · 31/03/2009 16:22

At least you have a time - 4pm.
The postman could arrive anytime between 8am and 4pm tomorrow!
But I still feel for you!!

bangandthechocolateeggisgone · 31/03/2009 16:24

Annie, you should be able to call them up tomorrow and they might be able to give you an answer over the phone, if you get too impatient.

OP posts:
AnnieShamrockInYourEar · 31/03/2009 16:25

ooh, you know everything! Thanks!
Anything yet!?

AnnasBananas · 31/03/2009 16:26

Basically the website reads along the lines that you will get told where to go if you phone up!!

bangandthechocolateeggisgone · 31/03/2009 16:29

No nothing yet, just made a pain in the arse of myself and rang them up, they said they have 5,000 to send out and they are all going out after 4.00pm, if nothing comes through by 7.30pm we are to ring them up. Why on earth didn't they just send them out this morning instead of having us wait all blardy day for this sodding email.

I worried for a minute that I hadn't had my email but our date is 7th April from Norfolk County Council.
