Are the schools communicating how children did in their Yr 6 Sats and if so have you received your child's result yet?

We haven't heard anything at all about it.

Does anyone know what the results look like Nationally? I don't think they are publishing but in case anyone knows from speaking to people in the know.

We're getting ours with the end of year reports this Friday.

There are a few threads about a similar topic. Here's a link to one about results:

Some will have had their results already. Others will come out with reports as and when schools issue them. We're expecting DD's with her report this Friday, 15th July.

Ours come out with reports on Friday too.

Although slightly miffed that the secondary school they are in a MAT with issued a statement on friday congratulation the school on having incredible sats results being 'a country mile over the national average'. Could of bloody told us first !

Yodaisawally · 11/07/2022 13:26

We got results last week but only in the form of exceeding / meeting / working towards, no numbers that I've seen mentioned here.

questionthyme · 11/07/2022 13:33

Any information about how the info compares to national average or what the data tells us post covid?

National averages were 105 in reading, 104 in maths and 105 in GPS. Down slightly on the last sats in 2018/19 which were 104, 105 and 106.

My dd got given hers during school time on Wednesday. I know some schools wait and send them out with end of year reports.
I was surprised that they were given them during class time incase anyone was disappointed in how they had done.

Spud90 · 11/07/2022 16:36

We had a post it note saying if they achieved expected or greater depth but no scores yet.

onemouseplace · 11/07/2022 17:37

We got reports last Friday (have children doing both KS1 and KS2 SATs this year) and all we got was the usual not meeting/ expected/ greater depth terms. No actual numbers, or whether these actually were related to SATS results or not.

NobbyButtons · 11/07/2022 17:39

My son brought back his today. He had been given them by the teacher and wrote out his results on a piece of paper. He had the results for each paper and the marks needed to get expected and greater depth. I presume we'll get a printout with the reports later this week.

LondonQueen · 11/07/2022 17:53

Ours are coming out at the end of year reports.

PastMyBestBeforeDate · 11/07/2022 17:55

We got ours with the report on Friday.

HighRopes · 11/07/2022 17:56

We got a sealed envelope last Friday (sent home with strict instructions that it not be opened until the child was with a parent) which gave score for each paper, national
average and something else - possibly borough average - plus a column for whether age related expectations were met etc.

Then her report separately by email, which did talk about age related expectations / greater depth by subject, but didn’t mention SATs.

TattiePants · 11/07/2022 19:09

I'm expecting DD's this Friday with her report.

AugustRose · 12/07/2022 00:01

We got DS's Yr 6 results on Friday, sealed envelope that he brought home. It included whether he had met the expections with figures for each of the papers along with school and national averages, plus the teacher assessment for writing and science.
