How did everyones DC find the exam today? can't get much from my son other than "it was fine"

Seemed overall ok. Questions were like the samples.

DS said there was a 3 digit number question like in the practice paper: 592 - one question was what’s the lowest 2 digit odd number.

Sometimes relayed info is incorrect though lol.

Good to hear kikiSWLondon. My DS did say it was much like the practice paper but said it was a bit harder so wasn’t sure how much harder also got nothing out of him about the creative writing. Probably botched that one up

From what I could understand, the maths was like the sample paper and the creative writing was quite straight forward. But this is coming from a now very tired DD!

DS said the composition was to write a story set in the jungle (the non-continuation question).

I think it’s an assessment based on group activities. Not sure if there is another exam?

I believe so. 5 days of group assessments!

Must be atleast 100 boys and girls in interview for 40 places.

Ah sorry I thought it was over 3 days this week.

Does anyone know , how many places they have on the reserve list ?

Don’t know sorry. We got an offer and trying to make a decision asap but hoping to speak to come current parents of DDs there first

I want to be hopeful. The email said it was their initial list so hopefully there will be be some movement next week.
