Does anyones elses primary school not encourage the wearing of gingham dresses?? Apparently from 2023 they will not be allowed at all but if you have them from previous years you are allowed to wear them. I love my DD in her checked dress, When I asked for a reason it is because they are not a gender neural item.

Yet again it's only girls having choices removed. When will this rubbish end.

Just have one uniform for all. Let all choose whatever

EssexCat · 20/06/2021 21:07

So weird. Our school just has uniform options that everyone has to choose between. This includes skirts, dresses, shorts and trousers - but they don’t specify which are for boys and which are for girls.

@TheSunShinesBright Marks do a cotton one every year. The Asda ones were also always cotton, but Dd is Y9 now. I miss those dresses

@TheSunShinesBright M&S do pure cotton ones!

More nonsense. They probably just got an encyclopedia size load of trash with trans rhetoric. Send all your girls in in dresses if they like wearing them.

They won't send home whole classes.

Their excuse is nonsense.
