Anyone else awaiting results? It's driving me mad with the not knowing! How did other peoples children find it? X

It is crazy - some heads even gave the scores and the results a couple of weeks ago after HT appeals (according to one of the eleven plus websites). Why KCC can't email you the pass/not pass result and the scores in the same email is beyond me. It's not very equitable that some people know immediately and others don't...!

LumpySpacedPrincess · 15/10/2015 16:21

I've just emailed and asked if I can have the results, I'll see what they say.

Minnie577 · 15/10/2015 17:35

Well done to everyone Smile now we have to decide between Langton boys or Barton court, like them equally & don't know how to choose Confused

Thethingswedoforlove · 15/10/2015 21:43

Some heads def did give out scores early - not mine unfortunately- under the guise of 'headteacher discretion'. Complete rubbish that there is any discretion! Totally agree the info shd be put in the letter and email ( my email never arrived!). I haven't shopped the head I know of to kcc as it feels petty. But it is so unfair! The letter too said scores available from tomorrow!

Minnie: does your school have a view if you are indifferent?

Well SCAF is all filled in and submitted! We're in a lucky position as we have an older DC at the school we want so have the sibling connection but still think its going to be a nail biting wait until 1st March!

PettsWoodParadise · 17/10/2015 19:48

I hit the send and submit button on our SCAF today. After DD sitting three lots of 11+tests I was exhausted but the whole process, and I didn't sit the tests! DD was of course as cool as a cucumber. We had some fabulous choices and would be happy with choice one or two. We can't see given the scores we wouldn't get either but felt we had to fill out the other four slots on the CAF, just in case. It feels like a weight off my shoulders. I don't think I realised how stressed I was by the whole blooming process. Wine tonight.

Dungandbother · 18/10/2015 01:13

Pettswood just curious, what are you hoping for at preference 1?
Totally nosy but I know you're near me and I you have a poor DD who will sit all three in a couple of years.

Thethingswedoforlove · 18/10/2015 08:37

We need to do scaf today! But open days not yet all over so feel weird pressing submit in advance of dd seeing final school (which is choice no 1!)

Panicmode1 · 18/10/2015 09:18

We have until the 2nd November (extension because of half term) It does seem daft if you have to do it before the open days have all happened!

LumpySpacedPrincess · 18/10/2015 10:06

Form filled and sent! The school emailed back with dd's scores, so glad it's all over.

There have been some real upsets at school though with some super bright kids not getting in, they must have had a really bad day at the office.

I thought 31st October (2nd November because of half term) was a national closing date Thethingswedoforlove whereabouts are you? Seems a bit unfair to have to submit so close to getting results and before all open days!

Thethingswedoforlove · 18/10/2015 22:47

It is open until 2 Nov but we are away for half term and away on business for most of this week so needed to get it in today. So not kcc fault but ours. But all done and we can change it from our holiday if the open day proves that something needs to change....

SoImpatient80 · 19/10/2015 06:54

Ah, fair enough Thethingswedoforlove I was irate on your behalf then GrinBlush Fingers crossed you'll be just as happy with your choice after your visit and you won't have to change it.

Jamie180 · 08/07/2017 13:55

Anyone know when results can be expected for this year?
