The answer to the first question is no. Not state primary schools anyway.

Some private schools have entrance exams at 7 or younger and are competitive so only those children who appear the brightest on the day that they are tested get in.

I told myself that I shouldn't laugh and shouldn't comment but I can't help myself! I would start again if you want proper advice OP.
You have to go private if you want selective.

FunnysInLaJardin · 07/11/2013 16:11

me too Grin. I thought this might be about a sort of Steiner school of which I was unaware

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 07/11/2013 16:12

I've not heard of any schools that cater for children who go on trips in their little rocket ship, and only study art and music. If you find one though, can you come back and share, as I wouldn't mind signing up for that myself.

LoofahVanDross · 07/11/2013 17:26

Does the high IQ run in the family?

ZingWantsCake · 07/11/2013 17:31

possibly the best title ever.

TantrumsAndBalloons · 07/11/2013 17:32

For some reason I thought that this was an actual school like Steiner or Montessori Grin

MrsBungleScare · 07/11/2013 17:36

I have to snigger, I can't help myself. Sorry sorry sorry.

I'm not aware of high iq schools. Maybe extra tutoring or something to ensure your child gets all the stimulation they need?

WildThongsHeartString · 07/11/2013 17:38

Snurk Grin Grin

UriGeller · 07/11/2013 17:45

Rotten lot Grin

FiscalCliffRocksThisTown · 07/11/2013 17:47

good one OP, but surely that is not a plausible typo.

3/10

spanieleyes · 07/11/2013 17:58

Extra tuition might be the way but perhaps family learning might help Grin

ZingWantsCake · 07/11/2013 18:02

OP

are you currently home schooling?

grovel · 07/11/2013 18:08

It's "I before E except after C". If OP had written Einstein she would have made 2 spelling mistakes instead of one.
