Dear mumsnetters,
A quick question but what would you say your top tips are for prepraring your dc for the 11+?
Our school is preparing an open evening for parents and any suggestions would be very welcome! Thank you:)

We ditched school homework (except for spellings and times tables) before the Summer holidays which was a massive relief to DS. He didn't replace nightly homework with 11+ work though, we just wanted to take the pressure off. He continued with most of his activities, particularly the physical ones.

Sorry still at work. Dd is just 7, she does do timetables on the iPad, but TBH is often quite disruptive and wanting my attention (rollerblades on /off, in/out the front door (this will stop as the nights get darker I guess). She isn't a great tv fan and DH doesn't come in (on my home days)ttill 7:30, which is too late to start work TBH.
