To start a "have we got into our preferred primary school thread"?

Find out TODAY if DS has got into the same school as his sisters!
Lots of applicants were turned away last year, due to a bumper intake
We're just in catchment

Monday for us. Should get in under the sibling rule but these things are not over till they're over!

My DS didnt get into the school i wanted and to make things worse the school hes been offered a place at has an updated ofsted inspection which really isnt good.. really stressing now!

We found out yesterday, we got our fourth choice which is our catchment school. It has a good ofsted but as far as I can tell this is generally for pastoral care and the academic side of things isn't as good. However at least he has a school and it isn't one in special measures. I really feel for the people who already know that whatever they put on the form they might not get anything at all, or so horrible that it's heartbreaking to send their DCs.

I could tell it was going to be a bumper application year locally because all the clothes in that size were always sold out! Plus we have high migration around here.

So going on wait list and trying to put positive spin on it all!

Found out just now that dd2 got into the school of our choice. It was touch and go whether she'd get in due to us not being catholics (having two siblings already there and living a 3 minute walk away doesn't count). I'm so pleased. :o

DD2 has got a place at our first choice (extremely oversubscribed) school round the corner. So pleased!
Wasn't to worried this time around though as DD1 is already there. I was a nervous wreck last year. Good luck to those still waiting to hear!
