My son is having alot of problems with reading at school - he does have ocular albinism and poor eyesight.
School have suggested he tries learning to read from an IPAD, but amazon don't seem to have the oxford reading tree?
Can anyone make any suggestions for good learning to read books that I can down load?
Thanks in advance

Sites that use flash won't normally just work on ipads or android tablets. This recommends using puffin browser. Here

There are free bug club ebooks available on mumsnet Here

Does he have a vision teacher visit him at school? Do the school enlarge the text on his reading books? The IPAD would only be useful if was able to enlarge the text and still he may need to hold it quite close. If he has Nystagmus it will probably be very tiring for him to read and so short burst would be better. Lighting in the classroom would also be very important, as too bright or too dark could reduce his vision further.

Thanks for all of your advise.
We are at a british school but not in the UK so bit different here and yes school are being helpful but it will depend on the teacher he has over the years and the school he is at is very academic and reading is so far proving to be a massive issue.
Not sure if the issue is his vision and we have been advised to see a behavioural optometrist (but this would mean a flight and expensive trip back to UK),or if it is some sort of learning disability.
He is 6 years old
