I think you have very effectively written off your potential market on here!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
collision · 13/02/2011 17:36

have reported

onimolap · 13/02/2011 17:37

I'm reporting them too. They're taking over whole forums!

ChazsBrilliantAttitude · 13/02/2011 17:37

Also reported - they have spammed Education and Secondary Education topics too

Stationery · 13/02/2011 17:39

Fark me they're like a virus!

I am lolling at their spelling of Egham. It is a place, not a collaboration of foodstuffs.

mrz · 13/02/2011 17:39

I fear Kirsty may be a Bot
I've reported dozens of posts but more keep appearing ruining the site Sad

FreudianSlippery · 13/02/2011 17:41

Just hijacked an old thread of mine too! (how to help 12yo learn spellings on primary ed)

Changeisagoodthing · 13/02/2011 17:43

Do you think they started threads?

I was just wondering why tutoring was so poplar today

onimolap · 13/02/2011 17:44

MNHQ are no longer reply to individual reports of posts - I hope this means they're doing something clever behind the scenes to stop more posts (and hopefully delete the whole lot!)

Guess none of us will be using their services after this!

LIZS · 13/02/2011 17:47

just reported another one .

PatriciaHolm · 13/02/2011 18:04

Hopefully they are just deactivating the account and deleting all the posts!

It amazes me that supposedly smart people think that blanket spamming is a good marketing move.

LIZS · 13/02/2011 18:06

They actually re-spammed a thread where their original post had already been deleted

belledechocchipcookie · 13/02/2011 18:09

I've reported them twice and they've been deleted. Is she still spamming?

Ponders · 13/02/2011 18:10

no more posts in the last 10-15 mins or so

fingers crossed

belledechocchipcookie · 13/02/2011 18:12

I've just done a search! I really can't be arsed to report all of them so here you go, I'll do one mass report!:

Ponders · 13/02/2011 18:14

I've reported all of them, belle - I think others have too Smile

belledechocchipcookie · 13/02/2011 18:15

Smile Bloomin spammers! Grr!

exexpat · 13/02/2011 18:21

I messaged 'kristy' to ask her to stop spamming mumsnet. This is her reply:

"This isn't really a business advertisement. I am trying to help parents looking for tuition for their children.I'm helping out rather than spamming.
Seriously if I had a business I wouldn't be posting. But this organisation helped my 7 year old son and 16 year old daughter.
Thank you very much."

Yeah, right. So I tried again - certainly reads like an ad, you're not doing the business any favours etc. Got this back:

"It's just a friendly thing! I just want to help mothers like me find te right tutor for cheap so they won't undergo any struggling with all these 'deposit' agencies.
I am sorry if it hurts the business but I am sure a lot of Mums like myself are more than happy to help their child! I am doing it for the benefit of others!
I am sorry if it offended you in any way! I would recommend it to your children too!
Have a lovely day and best regards to you and your family!"

How stupid does she think we are? Or is the stupidity on the other side of the line....

MigratingCoconuts · 13/02/2011 18:25

oh, I think she sounds simply lovely!! Smile

LIZS · 13/02/2011 18:25

She's still at it - not advertsing for her self of course but as a mum Hmm

PatriciaHolm · 13/02/2011 18:29

You know, it would be a real shame if, as the result of spamming her email all over the place, a "bot" Grin scraped her email and she ended up getting a load of spam email.

Wouldn't it?

pagwatch · 13/02/2011 18:30

Wouldn't it be funny if kirsty was just a fan.

I expect yoursmartchildnow would be trying to track her down and shoot her for making them sound like slightly dim teenagers who can't spell or construct a professional advertisement.

skiphopskidaddle · 13/02/2011 18:33

I reported a couple before seeing this. I guess if your child is so smart now they wouldn't need a tutor.

activate · 13/02/2011 18:33

I am left wondering what a "student recruitment group of tutors" is to be honest

does that mean the tutors are students

and will they all be equally illiterate?

MigratingCoconuts · 13/02/2011 18:37

I've just seen a potential market open up for me and my year 11 science class...now, how best to launch my ad campaign.... Hmm

PatriciaHolm · 13/02/2011 19:04

OOOh I've managed to annoy it now Grin She/he/it has just sent me a snotty private mail.

Someone really has too much time on their hands. Guess the tutoring business is slow right now for illiterate, unintelligent tutors.... Grin
