How tall is your 10 year old?

Dd is 10y9m and 5'2" she absolutely hates being so tall. She's always been the tallest girl by a stretch but she's grown even more during lockdown and is feeling really self-conscious about returning to school. We've had so many chats about how beautiful she is, how lovely to be tall (I'm only 5'4"), everyone's different etc but she can't see past it. FYI she started puberty early age 8 and got her first period two months ago and is crazy skinny, a tall beanpole.

Yes 5ft 9 at 11. She's a size 8.

DD2 is 10 years 5 months and is 5ft 1 tall. She's a "tall build" - slender with very long legs (impossible to buy trousers for) but small feet, still only a size 3. To be fair, her Dad is 6ft 3, her Nan is 5ft 11 and I'm 5ft 8 so we expected her to be tall. Only just seeing the first signs of puberty, so I think she's still got plenty of growing to do!!

Thanks for all the replies. Dr Google agrees in that she will likely grow 2-4more inches as her period has started which will make her 5'4-5'6! We shall see...

DD has just turned 11 and is 5ft 9in in socks. I am 6ft 2in and husband is 6ft 6in.

Size 8 shoe I should have said.
