I need a catchy name for my French toddler group! Any ideas welcome! (as long as politically correct!!)

I am starting a French club after Easter. it is aimed at 0 to 5 years old and is based on play and music.
I would like something that sounds French and fun!

MERCI BEAUCOUP

Hi hi hi! I like La vache qui rit! Parents and Frogglers is fab too

Not sure about chouxfleur as not many English people know about it.

Something like (although obviously not!) Petits Lapins? (or whatever is French for squirrel/ insert other cute animal).

McDreamy · 16/03/2009 20:40

Petit Lapins

Nontoxic · 16/03/2009 20:42

See, I thought lapins had connotations - doesn't 'hot rabbit' mean 'horny' - or was that a wind up I fell for?

Coldtits · 16/03/2009 20:42

Les Petites Choufleurs

Coldtits · 16/03/2009 20:43

Damn you chippy

Nontoxic · 16/03/2009 20:43

There used to be a language club at DS's infant school years ago - Le Club Tricoleur, which I always rather liked.

Coldtits · 16/03/2009 20:43

Les Petits Pappilons

supadoula · 16/03/2009 20:43

hey, petit lapins is nice. I thought about "something" escargot but I don;t know if many people would link it to snail!

giantkatestacks · 16/03/2009 20:45

oohlala [wants to get an 'allo allo' joke in but cant think of anything]

supadoula · 16/03/2009 20:45

no, nontoxic, lapin in French has no 'horny' connotation that I know of

How about something that does what it says on the tin? French version of 'let's play and sing' - sounds clumsy when I say it with my rusty French but there might be an elegant way of saying it!

supadoula · 16/03/2009 20:50

gosh... I need to have a drink and a little brainstorm! what word would scream French at you??
bear in mind it's for children!

smallorange · 16/03/2009 20:53
