Instant abortion regret - is there any going back??????

Crying my absolute heart out and too inconsolable to explain the situation.

I took the first tablet (medical abortion) a couple of hours ago. I tried to talk myself into being fine with it, took the kids to bed and broke down completely. Can the baby survive if I don’t take the second lot of tablets? Should I make myself sick? Although it’s already been a couple of hours in my system.

Words can’t explain how bad I want to go back in time. I can hardly breathe.

Hey OP, I'm really sorry you are going through this. How are you feeling today? I can really resonate with the feelings you had after taking the first tablet, as I had what sounds like the exact same reaction after a surgical (so not the same procedure) at just 17 years old. It was a really dark time but you will get through it. Remember your hormones are all over the place right now they will soon settle. Wishing you the best x

please reach out to us if you need to. it can feel a very dark time after the process and you grieve- even if it was the rationale decision its still sad. there is also a charity called ARCH who have a helpline if you need to talk to someone. wishing you all the best with recovery x
