Medical abortion - not much blood

Hi All, I took the 2nd set of tablets at 17:50 yesterday and then the third set at 20:50 , I had shivers, temp but no cramping or bleeding, this morning at 05:00 I woke up to go to the toilet and when I wiped there was some blood and clots on the tissue but I’ve not had anything on my pads, I’m 5 weeks 1 day. I was expecting lots of blood/cramps so worried it’s not working. X

I think I’ve just replied to you on a separate thread, but I’ll reply here too - Are things still slow as it’s been a few hours since you posted? If you aren’t getting heavy bleeding and large clots then I’d call your provider to let them know. I think some women take longer to bleed than others. When I had my medical, by the time I inserted the second set I was having very light bleeding and it all kicked off from there, two hours later I then had a large gush of blood, and a large clot which was the pregnancy

@scaredandanxious01 thank you so much for your reply, feeling so alone and have an older child so having to pretend I’m fine 😪 it’s still really slow, when I wipe after going to the toilet there is a little blood but not a lot at all. I called Marie Stopes and they said it can take up to 48 hours so to call back after then if I’ve still not bled a lot. Now I’m starting to worry about it being an ectopic pregnancy 😦 and I have to go back to work tomorrow and didn’t want anyone to know about this 😪 xx

If it helps I never really had any blood on my pads (I brought a lot of them too as I thought I would be getting through them which was annoying, mostly only changed them for hygiene) there was blood in the toilet and when I wiped but no where near the amount I was expecting. I had a few clots again never on the pads usually in the loo. My termination was successful. Had more blood my first period afterwards

@SEJ1789 thank you ❤️ I came to work yesterday (I work in a hospital) and spoke to the GP who transferred me to the gynaecologist with suspected ectopic, had a scan and there was a mass near my ovary so went for key hole surgery. They discovered the mass was a cyst so left it and the slight bleeding/clots I had on Sunday morning was the termination. Waiting to be discharged from hospital now, such a stressful time x

Hi! After taking misoprotol I started having diahearr and chills and cramping..few hours later I saw blood..and some clot..the pain was too much so I took ibuprofen but the pain continue till the next morning and stop...I haven't seen blood since this morning and am really worried 😥

I took a abortion madicine before 18 hours blinding came but little bit for 1 pad only after that nothing happened what should I do my Dr she is not receiving my phone call can you help me

I’m 6 weeks pregnant got the insert in the vagi and a tablet to take same time and it’s been day 3 and I’m only having light bleeding and haven’t had do clots ..did it work!?could I re thing of keeping my baby?

Hi! I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. I took the first pill 3 days back and yesterday (48 hours after the first one) I took 4 pills orally. 15 min after that I started to get cramps and within 30 minutes there was blood and cramping and clots and severe pain for 4 hours with diarrhoea. Then by night the bleeding was very less like less spotting. I have barely bled in the midnight as there’s very less blood this morning. There are mild cramps sometimes but rest is fine. I took a med to control my diarrhoea yesterday. Should I be worried that it isn’t complete.

Hi i was 5weeks pregnant took mifepristone and 5hours later i took 2misoprostol sublingualy and 2 insterted in the vagina …. I bleed moderatly only when i push and some small clots and then it stopped… went for a scan the followimg day and it shows i have some things left out …should i take two misoprostol again ?if so which method sublingually or swallow ? I dont want to be vaccumed 🥹

Hi.. I found myself pregnant when I was on 5 weeks I don’t have any single symptoms till my 5 weeks .. I get panicked and I try to terminate my baby but my abortion is failed and I get clots and bleeding but not that much I took one oral and two in vagina tablet name is breeky eni how I have some very personal reason so I don’t want to continue right now but when I went to Dr she checked me very well I don’t tell her that I took pill but when my BHCG was 17000 and everything was normal I decided to continue but u know there is a doubt came that if some thing his happend to my baby r any thing happend I cannot forgive myself I was searching and searching and I found that if ur abortion is unsuccessful ur baby might have defect.. so after this i thought I will do it again but with the new .. so again I took one oral pill and two tab in vagina a little bleeding comes out and that’s it and after few hours passed I took two more tab in vagina … in short nothing happend same clots but no that much not bleeding nothing I am 7 weeks now and I seriously want to continue my pregnancy .. I am thinking that if between my pregnancy something r incomplete baby that time I will be the same situation Dr they will abort .. I don’t know what to do I am so stresssd my brain stop working .. it’s only 7 weeks but I feel something moving in my belly .. I don’t know what to do .. I am seriously depressed 😭 what if I continue my pregnancy my baby will be ok .. ?what will be the chances? Dr told me u have a very strong pregnancy. Is my baby will be the full parts with full of activities 😭😭in which month I will knew that my baby is totally normal? I am really heart broken I don’t know what to do . If there is any one who passed this kind of situation please Answer me please.

Do a scan to see if the pregnancy is still there because you could be having an incomplete abortion

Thnku for ur kind response … I just check with Dr my baby have heart beat I am on 8 weeks and my baby growing fast I have a very strong pregnancy and I am continuing … I hope and praying that my baby will be ok till my last journey and I have a good and healthy baby …

Wish you all the very best …i have a friend whose baby is completely healthy n normal tried abortion but failed thou it was via vacuum inspiration …. Your doctor should be able to advise professionally but also be prepared to accept any outcome in the long run.

Untill now I am very ok .. and hoping further as well.. after medicine I become lazy thts it otherwise I do excercise and yoga I will do it again and I will update my journey .. so atleast our women have more motivation and energy and they will not go for abortion .. One News Break my heart so I though I should share with all of yew as well.. so I already posted regarding my abortion story and after that I decided to continue my pregnancy… Yesterday I had my ultra sound I am almost starting my 9 weeks .. Dr told me on my ultra sound report that there is a sec whose protected baby in womb it’s rapture 😭😭😭 and my baby is no more protected but my baby is absolutely fine I heard heart beat and everything but I am soo worried .. I am still crying my silly mistake made me more depressed… they said it’s possible that baby delivers before time or might be there is chances for abnormalities.. I seriously don’t know what kind of decision I have to made it … 😭

Am so sorry but you should share your worry with someone whom u trust and reason together… i wish you well in whatever you decide to do .

So I had sex on the 14th July 2023 and I tested positive on 30thjuly if my counting is correct it was to 2weeks pregnant, then I took the first pill on 7 at 22hrs then the following day at 22hrs had chills diarrhea to my surprise I only passed one small clot and little blood with pain since then I have been normal I don't know if it worked can someone please help me understand what's going on for I am just a student

Hello mam was 6 week pregnant.i had taken abortion kit . 5 tablet of abortion.. clots and flesh had came 1 week.and bleeding was stopped . After 15 days spotting come 2 days and then 1 spoon bleeding started ..no clots had seen...what should I do...now ..

Hello ..I was 6 week pregnant.. i had taken abortion kit..taking mifepristone before 24 hours of misopristone... Taken misopristone at the intervals of 12 -12 hours... Then bleeding and clots had come..in a week bleeding was stopped.. after 14 days spotting has been started and normally bleeding one spoon a day is coming ...what should I do... It will be terminated by medicine or a dnc. Please I don't want to take dnc !
