Needing advice about my medical abortion

Really needing some advice about my medical abortion!

I recently found out I was pregnant but I knew in my current circumstances I could not go ahead with the pregnancy. I took my first tablet Monday of which I would’ve been 7+3 weeks pregnant then I had to put 4 tablets up there and take 2 orally the following day.

I’ve been bleeding not moderately with a couple of tiny clots but it’s slowed right down and I’m worried I’ve not passed the pregnancy. It’s bright blood but more of a mucus type of bleeding. I’ve rang the advice line which the woman said to run up and down the stairs, do squats and star jumps to see if that gets things moving but nothings changed. I didn’t know this would be a long process.

I know it’s not the same but I had an early miscarriage and had what I would call light to moderate period bleeding for about 4 days then it was bleeding but only when I went for a wee (could have not worn a pad). After 10 days I finally realised it was a miscarriage and not a weird period. It then got a little bit heavier for a couple of days and tailed off. I had a scan and it had all passed and I got a negative pregnancy test a couple of weeks later. It definitely wasn’t anything like I would have imagined a miscarriage to be. Hope you’re okay xx

Aw I'm so sorry for you loss I bet that was such a traumatic experience. It's day 5 for me and things have only just started to happen. I'm still only bleeding light but I've passed a few big fleshy bits which have been stuck in my cervix. I only know this as I was feeling pain/pressure down below so I rang the advice line where the woman told me to put a clean finger up there and have a feel, I could feel a big thing half in/out my cervix so pulled it and it come out. Since then I've passed 2 more big bits so I think it's just been stuck. Feeling a lot better now. Thankyou so much for your reply xx

To be honest when I eventually worked out it was a miscarriage it was a bit of relief as it was the weirdest bleeding I’ve ever experienced! Its good you got some more advice and things seem to have got moving! I’m really glad that you’re feeling a bit better and more reassured everything is progressing as it should be! Xx

Hey everyone, so it's been 3 weeks since my termination. Today was the date to do my pregnancy test and it's positive still, I'm going to ring the hospital tomorrow but I'm so worried. I've done several different tests and they've all come back positive varying from faint to moderate lines (I'm not sure if the intensity means anything). Honestly i never thought it would end up like this
