7 weeks medical termination handhold needed

I'm 7 weeks and took my first pill yesterday. So far, the sickness has been the same as usual - awful but manageable.

I've planned for 6pm to take the next tablets with codeine in advance.

I've already started bleeding with sizeable clots and backache - guessing this is expected.

I've told no one in RL and could do with some support/positive stories.

Hey hun thanks checking in.

I been a bit worried tbh as took the 4 tablets at 5pm horrendous cramps started at 7 ish n only spotting then hour later enough to soak a pantyliner(tmi sorry) n I felt a small clot pass. But the leaflet said if you have less than a period blood then take the other two misprostol orally after 3 hours. Which I was worried it wasn't enough blood, so I took them later at 4.5 hours later so I'm praying it's worked ! 😖🙏🏻

I'm still cramping really bad but worried it's not enough blood ! I've hardly eaten only toast xx

The bleeding for me has been on and off - still very crampy and uncomfortable but more period like.

Boobs are almost normal now and sickness is definitely receding.

I passed it early hours of this morning.and the pain virtually gone when I woke up it was excruciating though last night. I was on cocodamol last night and
Ibuprofen heat pad literally saved me.
I've had no cramping but bleeding a lot and still experiencing the pregnancy symptoms I had of
Dizziness etc but I've hardly eaten in the last 24 hours so I'm
Tryin to eat more now. My little girl came
Home this morning and so glad she wasn't here.
I'm exhausted now but kinda relieved I'm
Takin my girl
To the park now where I will
B sittin down the whole

I'm still bleeding quite heavily but pain is muuuuch better thankfully.

Rest thanks! I do feel bit better today too bleeding still feel cramps which is normal but I don't feel preg anymore and to n honest I don't miss it. I knew it wasn't the right time.

Glad you're feeling better! Other than cramps and bleeding, I feel so much better - minimal sickness and my boobs aren't horrifically painful.

I've seen a few babies recently - social media - and I still feel like my baby years are over, thankfully. No regrets but I do feel sad that this situation came about - it'll be abstinence until they sort me out with a coil - never risking a contraceptive fail again.

And yes, thank you all so much for checking in and for support. It means the world, especially as I've not told anyone.

Well the clinic put me on depo obv seems like I'm no good on pill ! I was takin it but must have forgotten a day or two. I keep seeing baby stuff and people with babies it does give me a twinge of 'oh what could have been' but I'm 99.9% sure I made the right decision due to high medical risks.
Still bleeding not as much boobs killin however!
DP and me had a fall out tonight he made a little insensitive comment to me tonight n I just blew !
I literally had an abortion 48 hours before and Still going through it physically and emotionally and he's been amazing support don't get me wrong all the way but things aren't Just going to switch back to normal straight away. Maybe my hormones all over the shop n he's apologised etc but men just don't get it !

@toodlemcfloo @jammyrodger thanks both for asking after me. It’s been okay? I can’t believe I’m saying that, I’m a bit worried it’s been almost ‘too okay’. I’ve been using codeine and ibuprofen every four hours though, and had taken it an hour before starting the second stage. Tablets inserted at 5.30, cramping and slight bleeding, not much. Then further two at 8.30, had about 15 minutes of uncomfortable cramping and passed quite a large clot at 10 that felt weird coming out - I had a popping session in my tummy half hour before. Since that I had some mild pain, still bleeding and a few clots. Bleeding is nothing worse than my period, and actually the pain less so. I just don’t know if this is the build up or it’s done? I don’t feel sick no more either.

Sorry, I knew this would happen - go through it then spend it all worrying if it worked.

I’m staying up - I can’t sleep, if I don’t move the blood is quite heavy coming out, so I get up every half hour/hour to go the loo.

Managed to eat a whole shared size bar of galaxy chocolate....

Glad you're ok @YnysMon20 sounds like the worst is over for you, was the same for me after passing a few clots at the beginning, then just heavy period bleeding, it should slow down a bit more for you tomorrow.

@winterbegone I’m not sure if I just built myself up for it to be worse than it was? Either way I have to say the sense of relief is overwhelming, I could cry - happy tears. I am just so grateful that I’ve had this option. How are you feeling? xx

I think it's the build up and not knowing what to expect, I do wonder if it's all passed but I did have a fair amount of bleeding so I assume so, I was 6wks not 7 so not much pregnancy to pass.
My boobs and belly have shrunk a lot overnight and the pregnancy sickness has completely gone, although I made myself feel sick by eating a tub of Ben and Jerry's!

Thanks @winterbegone - I passed another big clot at 4am which took me a bit by surprise again. Had really weird pressure and pain until about half 5, and managed to get a few hours sleep. Feel quite sore and run down this morning, body adjusting I’m sure. I ate lots of chocolate last night! Xx

@YnysMon20 do you think the pregnancy has passed now then with the clot?
I have some strange tissue like clots today so I think it's finally passed today, nothing big I'd say about 1cm at the most which is how big they said the fetus was.

@winterbegone I have no idea - I thought it may have been the first large clot I passed, I did look in the loo and that came after the strange pop sensation and cramping. The one at four was larger though, and did make me feel quite sick, I had to push for it to come out. I’m still feeling quite a lot of pressure, and extremely bloated, the pessimist in me is thinking I have more to come - it all seemed to straight forward. I know it can take up to 72 hours, so my plan was to give it another 24 hours and call the after care line to explain what’s happened and get their view.

How are you doing? Did you speak to the advice line?

@toodlemcfloo I haven’t, going to call them tomorrow as it’s been a clear 72 hours then. I felt fine yesterday and the day immediately after, morning sickness had subsided. But I feel extremely bloated today and I feel a bit sick too. Still bleeding, not heavily, and had some awful cramps last night, driving myself mad now that it hasn’t worked - but I’m a worrier and time will tell I guess. I’ll keep you posted. How you doing? X

Just wanted to update you all. I woke this morning blood gushing down my legs went through pads within mins, my partner was 2 hours away workin so I called clinic they advised to come straight in. I dropped my dd to relatives house. Drove myself in and soaked through trousers.
They did scan said no pregnancy but clots there so looks as they it ended pregnancy last week when I had it done but didn't pass it. Had to stay in hospital to pass the pregnancy I had to see it in toilet. Blood was so much like nothin I have ever had before!
Bleeding eased as psssed some big clots n sent me home with partner to take another two misos to make sure it's all gone !
So here I am in bed shivering with chills side affects and praying won't b too bad for the second time around 🙏🏻 😭hope everyone ok xx

Oh my good god @cherry101 that sounds so traumatic - how are you feeling? Did you pass any clots when you did it first time round? I don’t feel I have, minus two larger ones, but I didn’t see a sac or pregnancy which worries me slightly. Make sure you get a blood test at GP for iron too with the blood loss, or get some spatone sachets to help increase iron. I can’t insist what you have been through. Sending love xxx
