oh, i sooo should know better than this BUT those who have been pg more than once, what were the signs on your second that made you sure you were pg BEFORE missed af? (go on, indulge me)

I always start feeling nauseous really soon - that and metallic taste in my mouth & smelling everything really strongly

I swear I felt something "going on" down there around the time of implantation!

The need to put ketchup and marinara sauce on everything (tomatoes are my main pregnancy craving), and a sense of complete and total fatigue.

I'm on pregnancy number 6 and I have never had symptoms before a missed period. The pregnancy hormone levels are so low at that point, I think it's usually just mind over matter.

the definitive clue was my pinky nipples...much more pinky!

i couldnt have 'made it up' as may be i could have with the nausea,fatigue etc

felt like i was just about to 'come on' for days...achy boobs etc

what symptoms have you 'got'?

3 days before AF was due I woke in the middle of the night with really tender boobs (just like they were with ds) and knew I was pg took a test the next morning and got a faint bfp

We were not ttc at the time [hmmm]

Am now 13 weeks and found out 2 weeks ago its twins lol

yep. metal mouth. yep nauseous. yep sense of smell gone bonkers, nearly barfed on a smoker in the street...

also psychotically (oh that is sooo spelled wrong) grumpy and moodswingy which happened last time too (but then ds teething n not sleeping and generally being a nonsleepingpaininthebum-- very advanced, bright and sparky boy so that could be the reason for that

oh i am such a fool i thought i was a bit more rational than this.

and yes i KNOW i'll have to wait and see

Second time, I was bf DD1, and she suddenly pulled away and made a face as if to say what have you put in this??

Really strong sense of smell. Dislike of coffee (unheard of unless PG!). And gaining weight despite every effort not to.

But I also carried on having AF for the first two months, so the weight gain may have come later than I thought, if you see what I mean.

nausea and dizziness from very very early on. and couldnt sleep on my front as my boobs were so tender!

Feeling sick and tired, I felt so rough I thought I was ill so had a couple of days off work even though we had been ttc but I was "ill" literally a few days after ttc so didnt think I'd have symptoms as quickly as that! When I was late and took the test I knew why I'd felt so lousy!

I had the lightest period ever 8 days early. It must have been implantation.

Went off red wine, and sense of smell went crazy

No symptoms, but I woke up with an absolute conviction I was pg - was not due for another couple of days but tested +ve and was not in the least surprised.

Dizziness, from about day 24. Thought I had tweaked a nerve in my neck (previous whiplash injury) and put myself to bed for two days. When I started feeling sick as well I joined the dots.

-eating lots of balsamic vinegar kettle chips
-diarrhoea!
-bloating

The morning after our one night of passion my boobs were extemely sore which did make me wonder! My tummy also gets quite bloated and I just feel strange.This time I knew almost immediately. Dd2 I knew after about a week or so, well we were on holiday in Oz and I couldnt keep my eyes open after 9pm....Umm I think that was a sign!
