oh, i sooo should know better than this BUT those who have been pg more than once, what were the signs on your second that made you sure you were pg BEFORE missed af? (go on, indulge me)

cos I have convinced myself. what a moron I am...

Raally runny nose and congested but no cold symptoms. I wasn't 100 percent certain, but I did feel fairly convinced I might be.

I was absolutely convinced I was getting my period. I had all my usual symptoms - hot flushes, sweaty, achey lower abdomen, sore breasts. Then had to pull over in a lay-by to be violently sick one morning, thought 'actually, my period is a couple of days late'...and got a BFP the next day.

BFP is now 3 mth old DD

I have an uncommon one here, had it for all my pregnancies. I realised I was pregnant the second, third, fourth times when I started burping an awful lot more than usual!

Sore breasts.

The sure fire sign was very tender, swollen breasts. Because of this and even though I was convinced it wasn't logistically possible for me to pregnant, I knew I was several days before period was due.

Ditzy, dreamy feeling. Much less moody than normal.... and the acquisition of a new jollier 'laugh' I swear to god were my first changes.
Then came the abdominal stretching pains, sore boobs, supreme sense of smell and the belches.

I have suspiciously NOT sore boobs - when AF is due they are always really tender but at start of pregnancy they weirdly are not (I'm on preg. no. 3 now) When they start getting sore later it's totally different to AF sore...
The tiredness, and also feeling cold all the time...

Falling asleep at 9.00 - 9.30 on the sofa in front of TV with mouth hanging open - 4/5 days before AF due

Sudden and overwhelming desire for very spicy food 3/4 days before, and very hungry (which was my very first sign with DS). Didn't last, am as sick as a dog now though!

Feeling crampy - with all 3

I know someone who knew she was pg the second time because her DH made her a cup of coffee and the smell made her throw up.

A BFP on a stick, one day before missed AF!

I smelt a dog approach from several feet away - it smelt wet and rather fetid, but when i looked at it, it was dry and quite clean-looking. Did a test the next day, 3 days before period due - positive.

With no 2, my period was 5 weeks overdue and I just felt really tired, but it was mainly instinct I think. First test was negative, then we were away for a few days and had a positive test result just after we got home. First scan when I thought I was 11 + 2 on last period date showed I wasn't so far on, only 9 + 4, so I knew from about 3 weeks pregnant.

Amazing sense of smell. Knew I was pg 2nd time just by that alone.
We had just been seated at Wagamama, and I realised I could smell everything in the kitchen, when usually my sense of smell is dire - and I just knew.

well I was still bfing so didn't have AF to miss, but I'm the numpty who was posting on here because I'd gained so much weight over the summer my bellybutton had popped out. was nearly convinced I had an umbilical hernia, til cargirl said, "pg?" and we did the test just so I could confirm to the doc it wasn't that.

I just had to post this when I saw the message from 'Gorionine' as I was also burping (quietly!) much more than usual! I thought maybe it was just a coincidence but seems it might actually be a symptom!
Also had v veiny boobs & tingly nipples but that was about it...

very first sign i knew my breast were extremely tender just like when they start to grow when in pubitiy, then the dreaded sickness then i knew

With dd I complained to my mum about the smell of a loaf of bread and she went

at dizziness and 'ill' - that's how I've been today! In fact, people have been asking me if I'm ok ever since ttc 4 days ago. Surely not.....?

With 2nd pg it was dreadfully dry eyes for me.

Hmmm. Crackly ear today and lack of dizziness confirms suspicions of clutching at straws. Will catch a grip.
