How Long Did It Take You To Conceive??

Just wondered?

DD1 - 1st attempt (37yrs)
DD2 - 1st attempt (39yrs)

much to DH's disapointment...

mc1 - 1 month

DD1 - 1 month

DC2 (due July '09) - 1 month

Hubby claims to have super sperm!

8 months (this is our first)

DH was taking zinc, vitamin E and magnesium as recommended by consultant for 2 months before we got lucky. So worth a try.

dd1 - 6 months (wasnt trying but wasnt on the pill)
dd2 - 1 month

(came off the pill in June cos of high Bp and didnt bother to get a coil fitted as we said if it happens, its happens, was pg in Dec).

ds - 3 months
dd - 1 week. Changed my mind on return from holiday, & decided i wasn't ready for no 2. Too late
Count myself very, very lucky (although dh disagrees...)

1 full cycle.

Started TTC too late in cycle to conceive in first couple of weeks, so 6 weeks altogether.

BEcause I am quite old, I was expecting it to take several months or years!

13 weeks now and took 8 months
