How Long Did It Take You To Conceive??

Just wondered?

dd1 7 years
dd2 a happy surprise 5 months later (14 month gap between dd's)

6 days! then gave birth 9 weeks early so start to finish was 31 weeks and 5 days

7 yrs no IVF whatsoever since I couldn't deal with the stress. However, it happened 2 months after HSG.

By Complete accident...

ds1-less than 3 weeks from deciding on trying for a baby

ds2- one night (I know as it was the only night that month we did the deed)

dd- due in March -one night (same circumstances as ds2)

dd1 2.6 yrs
dd2 3.9yrs (inc m/c)
pg 3 (25wks) once. I know this as it was only once since i had dd2.

well its taken us nearly 2 years to concieve i am 6 wks into pregnancy...due to having the depo provera contraception injection after the birth of my last baby who will be 6 yrs shortly so it took along time this time although we didnt think we would ever concieve,as we have alot of stress lately plus i lost my grandfather also 2 wks ago so i say he left me a surprise r.i.p gramps xxxxxxxxxxxx

ds- 1st unprotected sex after coming off pill
dd1- 6mths after ds was born
dd2- 13 mths after dd1 was born

Basically everytime we have unprotected sex. Don't want any more so not having sex atm just to be on the safe side

dd (only child) 3 yrs, concieved naturally.

ds - talked about it on the Wednesday, conceived on 1st attempt on the Friday.
mc1 - drunken unprotected fumble
mc2 - drunked unprotected fumble after missed 1 pill!

I know we were very very lucky. We were totally in shock with ds as expected it to take months!

3.5 dreadful years of longing to be a mum. Would have completely lost it had it not been for the gals on the conception thread.

After 2nd IVF had a lovely dd this July - at last I'm not saying to my dh "all I want for Christmas is a baby" (far to depressing for everyone!)

1st attempt both times

dd = 2 years
ds = preg without period after dd
dc3 = 2nd month after ditching contraception

Oh Chocolate, I'm so happy for you. It wasn't anywhere near that long for me (I don't know how you coped) but it was long enough and I remember the veil of tears all too well. I think the very worst bit might have been when the fertility clinic gave me a leaflet on a support network for childless couples called "More to Life". I'm sure they're a lovely bunch of people but I sobbed all the way home.

dd - 6 months
ds - 1 year

MC - 1 month
DD - 2 months
this pregnancy 1 month

My dh now thinks that he is the obviously superfertile one and could impregnate basically anyone

DD- 18 months
DC2- 2 months 28 weeks pg now

First time: 2 years.

Second time: 2 minutes.

which came as a bit of a shock!

First time: first time of trying!
Second time: about three or four months, can't remember exactly
Third time: ditto, 3/4 months.

1st - 6 months
2nd 1st month of trying
3rd ditto

dd1 - 1 year

dd2 - weren't trying, momentary lapse in contraception concentration

dd a few minutes contraceptive lapse

2nd preg 1 month but ended in mc

this time round (now on 2nd month of trying who knows..)
