Measuring 5 weeks but definitely 6 weeks pregnant

I had an early scan yesterday, I am definitely 6 weeks pregnant at the very least but measuring 4weeks 5 days :(
a gestational sac, and yolk sac were seen and a very tiny baby measuring 1.4mm with no HB.
I had my first bfp over 3 weeks ago so there is no way I am any less than 6 weeks. I have a history of miscarriage (8 to be exact) so it’s just a waiting game until the next scan or I start bleeding. The wait is the absolute worst part and I am struggling.
Any advice? Am I definitely out or are there similar stories that somehow worked out. I know I’m clutching here!
thank you ❤️

@WillowRose1411 @LONpregnantandhopeful I was asked at the hospital yesterday whether I have ever been tested for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), which I haven’t. Apparently that is the cause of a lot of miscarriages

im so sorry for your losses. 2nd trimester losses too must have been so incredibly tough for you. I saw Dr Gorgy in London. He discovered 3 things wrong with me, 2 of which I can’t remember. It was all so technical and never heard of these things before. One of them was raised natural killer cells which is also another common cause of recurrent miscarriage. I also had a laparoscopy which discovered endometriosis the year before I fell pregnant with my son, so maybe the removal of the endo helped me to get pregnant too.
the tests and treatment for my issues with the dr in London were very expensive and not something we could have afforded anyway even if I’d have chosen to continue with them.. but definitely something worth exploring if you have the money to fund.
I was also seeing a Chinese medicine specialist before I got pregnant with my son, not sure if it helped but also worth mentioning as a cheaper option to explore if you wanted to.

@LONpregnantandhopeful @WillowRose1411 it’s interesting the things they can find out, i will have to do some research although I imagine private is very expensive. Did either of you have the remains tested after a miscarriage?
