Here is photo from this am (5dp5dt). Is there a faint positive. Issue is that I did the test during the day with 2hrs urine gap. Maybe there is a faint positive?

Home pregnancy tests shouldn’t really be used to determine a viable pregnancy. An HCG blood test 2-3 days apart is your best option. Your clinic will likely base another HCG test on the results of today’s test. If your HCG is above 50 today, they will unlikely want to do another test because above 50 at this stage is considered viable and that will be great news. You should get your results back the same day if your test was done this morning.

Gently, you need to step away from the internet and just speak to the clinic. I know exactly how it feels having had both failed and successful IVF. All is going well so far, and the best thing to do is to rest, stay calm and let your body do its work. You can’t do anything more to influence things one way or the other now. It’s a deeply frustrating and stressful waiting game and even if all goes well it will feel like that up to the 12 week scan, and pretty much right up until the baby is born. One of the reasons I chose not to do IVF again for a second child, could not bear the thought of all the waiting and uncertainty again.

Thanks a lot. Hcg test every 2 days sounds quite intense. Think I’ll feel better after some sort of an official report.

It’s not that you have a HCG test every two days constantly. You just need 2 tests 48 hours apart to check it’s doubling appropriately. If it is, there’s higher chance of success. One HCG test alone cannot tell you much, other than that you are pregnant.

Hi all - we had hcg test on Monday and it was 200+ which is good. Clinic has advised we wait till 6 June for heartbeat scan to confirm. We are cautiously optimistic. Not done any urine tests and not sure they’re needed till 6 June
