Am I pregnant?

Here is photo from this am (5dp5dt). Is there a faint positive. Issue is that I did the test during the day with 2hrs urine gap. Maybe there is a faint positive?

But likely biochemical?

It may be, but you're testing very early.
Try not to get upset. I know how hard that is. You just want to know. I'm the same.
I'm praying for you. As everyone else has said, testing in the evening often shows a better line.
Your test from yesterday evening was clearly positive.

Took clearblue ultra early (detects above 10). Urine hold of about 1.5hrs. Faint positive? Or not?

That one is the first one I can see as possitive.

YoungMacDonald · 14/05/2025 20:01

Yes, I’d say that’s a positive. Congratulations!

Olika · 14/05/2025 20:05

Your test has a nice wide line so I am optimistic you will have a very clearly positive test in coming days. Good luck!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 14/05/2025 22:47

They look positive.

Tested again this am (FMU, 8hr hold). Again very disappointing. I can see a very faint line, but this isn’t progressing. Is it kind of stalled / slowed. I’m not sure what to expect?

It’s definitely darker than yesterday FMU though, so fingers crossed 🤞

Just feeling very overwhelmed. Emotions up and down. Felt very happy on Tuesday night. Then almost in shock yesterday am. Slightly better yesterday night, and then this am very confused. The lines are all very faint. Part of me is happy there is still some positive line, but the other part is very worried that we still don't have a darker line

@Plumper this morning's line is very much there, though.

You're testing very early still. I think that's a definite improvement. I couldn't see a line at all yesterday morning.

GloriousBlue · 15/05/2025 17:06

My tests were always lighter in the morning. I hope all is ok with your pregnancy x

mushroomushroom · 15/05/2025 17:33

This early you won't see big progression on tests. HCG doubles every 48-62 hours. Wait until your blood test, and then the follow up test. I know it's hard, but if these morning tests are really stressing you out, stop doing them. I say that as someone who also tested every single day after each FET. I know it's hard, but you also have to be realistic. You won't suddenly see dark lines this early on xx

Plumper · 15/05/2025 19:09

Tested again this evening (almost feel like the am pm pattern is happening) after 1.5hrs hold. I can see a line again

Oh love. You’re testing very very early.

At the moment these are positive tests. As someone once said to me, Tentative congratulations x

Olika · 15/05/2025 19:15

With all these lines I think you are pregnant.

Chick981 · 15/05/2025 22:10

You’re pregnant OP, congratulations! No-one can tell what will happen from here on in so just take it a day at a time and wait for your blood tests.

vegantart · 16/05/2025 08:20

These are all positive tests. Congratulations op

TheQuietestSpace · 16/05/2025 08:27

(Also IVF) my second morning urine, or later on tests were always stronger than fmu. I know that's not the science but it was for me!

I know so well this awfulness. At the moment, you are pregnant. What I'd recommend is buying only one type of test (I used the FRERs throughout) and then test at the same time every day only once (I did SMU so do first wee, don't drink anything but hold then use the next wee). Then you'll see a progression that's more measurable than comparing between different tests on different times.

YoungMacDonald · 17/05/2025 09:30

I echo what @TheQuietestSpacesaid about sticking to the same brand of test and doing them 48 hours apart to compare. The cheap One Step tests from Amazon are a good option - you can get a pack of 50 tests for under £10.

Plumper · 19/05/2025 13:58

I listened to your advice and took tests only 1 time in evening. I got a very dark positive on Friday evening which excited us, but since then Saturday was slightly weaker and Sunday was very weak. Is this viable, or is it now entering the biochemical pregnancy stage?

They all look like strong positives to me?

YoungMacDonald · 19/05/2025 14:19

They all look very positive and the difference between your Friday & Sunday tests wouldn’t likely be noticeable. You were only 8,9 & 10 dp5dt so they are all looking pretty good for that stage.

YoungMacDonald · 19/05/2025 14:22

Here are my 8 & 10 day past 5 day transfer tests for you to compare. You will see that my 10 day test looks lighter than my 8 day test. I was worried at the time but all went well with the pregnancy. I’m hoping the same for you op.

Very similar situation. I did hcg test at the clinic today. Let’s see

I’ve heard everywhere that test line needs to get darker else risk of biochemical. What’s a good hcg number to have?
