Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

Wow I log back on after being away over Easter and there are 876 new messages, I need to catch up! Hope everyone is doing well.

Just had my booking in appointment which was actually really nice, went with my partner and it got us both really excited. We’ve had a terrible weekend as he’s found out he’s being made redundant so it was nice to focus on the pregnancy and think about the next steps. It all felt more relaxed and less scary than in my first pregnancy and hopefully I’ll need fewer appointments.

Nausea/sickness is generally bearable and much easier than with my first so far. I had that one full day of being sick and otherwise I’ve just been sick occasionally and then felt better. I have almost constant background nausea but most of the time I can manage it by eating (so am just constantly eating which is not great). Still got very specific aversions/cravings and don’t like thinking about food until it’s right in front of me. But when it’s the right food at the right time, it tastes SO good and makes me feel less sick instantly. Am absolutely exhausted and having an afternoon nap most days!

CJHR18 · 24/04/2025 18:47

Thank you so much everyone 🥰🥰 xx

SoOtterlyLovely · 24/04/2025 19:06

@CJHR18 congratulations!! What a relief!

I had a scan today - measuring 9 weeks exactly which is a day ahead of what I thought and all looking good. Can't believe it. Still cry every time I'm in the scanning room - I think it will always be triggering for me after losses but really starting to think this baby is a strong one ❤️✨️

SoOtterlyLovely · 24/04/2025 19:07

@XXXXXMummyTo5XXXXX how are you getting on?

XXXXXMummyTo5XXXXX · 24/04/2025 19:16

@SoOtterlyLovely thanks for asking it means alot.. well tbh not good physically or mentally, im struggling to eat or drink (not due to sickness either) but noticed its like i have a decreased appetite which i have never experienced before 🤷🏻‍♀️ been feeling really tired too & feeling thirsty alot but no matter what i drink, it doesnt seem to quench my thirst if that makes sense? & i suppose its just had a negative impact on my mental health if im honest, but got something positive to mention, i went for a scan yesterday when i should of been 9+1 but instead measuring 8+6 so seen little baba & heard the heartbeat which was nice 🥰 got my booking appointment next tuesday on 29th as i only made the referal yesterday.. How are you doing? 💕

SoOtterlyLovely · 24/04/2025 20:54

@XXXXXMummyTo5XXXXX that sounds really tough, sorry to hear. I know the thirst feeling, then drinking annoys me because I have to wee so much! Are you managing 3 small meals? Have you had much sickness with other pregnancies?
I'm really hungry but then when I eat am so overly full and bloated so trying to have small meals but it's tough constantly thinking about portion size etc.

Really good news about the scan - sounds like it came at just the right time! ❤️

xTinkerbell · 25/04/2025 12:31

all looking good, baby due November 4th

XXXXXMummyTo5XXXXX · 25/04/2025 14:35

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish I'm glad to see you back though was worried something bad had happened 🖤 so glad your scan went well, my moods have been very up and down with feeling sick all the time. I'm 10 weeks on Monday so I'm really hoping we are all out of this soon and start to feel a bit better

FluentDreamer · 26/04/2025 10:11

Yes! 10/11/25 after two miscarriages and 2 years infertility xx

lavafield · 26/04/2025 11:12

Good morning ladies! A question: anyone else was recommended by midwifes to take aspiring 75mg daily from 12 weeks onwards? I was told to do so being 40+ and first time pregnant. Started taking it but still a bit unsure?! Those who were pregnant before, did it really help avoid preeclampsia risk? No side effects?
On a positive note, our NIPT at 10 weeks and a 12 week scan all went well! Was somehow showing one week ahead, at 13+2!

Yeah I was told that I’ll be taking the aspirin from 12 weeks because of a history of high blood pressure in the family, totally normal if they recommend it

lavafield · 26/04/2025 11:14

Thanks @F1boxbox ! I will stick to it!

I'm also on aspirin from 12 weeks until about 36 weeks she said as I'll be having another c section. I had pre eclampsia in my first pregnancy and have high blood pressure anyway

XXXXXMummyTo5XXXXX · 26/04/2025 15:23

I’ve got my 12 wk scan tomorrow too xx

MuddyMoments · 28/04/2025 14:09

How are we all feeling and getting on?
Scan nerves kicking in here too.. got my 12 week scan a week tomorrow. I’ve being so tempted by a private one but held off! It’s baby no2 for me but still get nervous after a loss in 2020.

Also feeling sorry for myself as I’ve got a UTI so on antibiotics. Feeling anxious taking these and the 3 different anti-sickness meds I’ve tried that it’s going to have some affect on baby, but following doctors recommendations.

Symptom wise still really tired and the nausea is worse on and evening.. I’m hoping for some miracle that they will just go and I’ll feel ok again!

Hope you’re all doing ok x
