Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

Oh ladies this part of pregnancy is so tough, I'm getting flashbacks from my first!

As difficult as it is try not to worry about feelings of low motivation, guilt etc because the first trimester is an incredible feat of physical endurance. Be kind to yourselves and have all the naps and beige food that you need.

I know it's not easy to relax when you feel rubbish - or even when you don't, my nausea stopped yesterday at 9 weeks and now that has been worrying me instead of just enjoying not feeling absolutely horrendous 🤦‍♀️

MuddyMoments · 14/04/2025 13:10

How are we all getting on? @SoOtterlyLovelyare you feeling any better?

I’ve had a wobble the last few days, I just feel so poorly- tired, lethargic, hormonal (moody and keep crying) and waves of nausea, the tablets I was given don’t seem to be helping now. I feel guilty on my 3 year old and my partner that I’m struggling to just get through the day. I feel like I’m missing out on plans and doing things and I hate the lying to friends about plans etc. I just feel very flat and fed up. I forgot how lonely the first trimester can feel and how up and down you are!

Got my 12 week scan date through today! 3 weeks tomorrow and the anxiety for it has suddenly kicked in.

Hope everyone is going ok x

@MuddyMoments ah thank you for checking in. Feeling a bit less flat and definitely recovering from a cold has improved things.
Have a dark cloud hanging over me because my nausea vanished at 7 weeks a few days ago. Just trying to distract from it.

I feel for you. I do keep thinking how would I manage if I had a toddler to run round after. It's such a short time in the scheme of things but each day feels so long!! Have you told people yet or waiting for 12 weeks? Maybe once you have that will help feeling so isolate - I totally get it xx

Ah @SoOtterlyLovely glad you are feeling a bit less flat. I can imagine when you have cold or any other illness to contend with as well as first trimester it is even harder.

Only told a couple of close friends at work because I’m struggling to function and my close family know, I had an miscarriage at 7 weeks in 2020 before going on to have my little boy in 2021 and I’m just wary how things can go wrong so only told those who I wouldn’t mind telling if something does go wrong for some support. OH’s mum and family don’t know yet and of course our 3 year old doesn’t know yet! It’s him I feel a bit guilty for as he keeps asking “mummy how are you feeling” when he knows I’m a bit under the weather. I definitely think once I can tell more people I’ll feel more relaxed. No idea how I’m going to get through Easter weekend with OH’s family! I also keep ignoring group WhatsApp’s where people are trying to organise things as I’m terrible at lying.

Got my 12 week scan date through today for 6th May. So 3 weeks tomorrow. 🤞🏼I’ll be able to make it more known then and start feeling a bit better! Equally thought now I have a date I’m anxious.. I always get anxious for scans.

If it’s any reassurance about disappearing symptoms, last time mine went away and came back multiple times before going completely around 13 weeks. I’d have 3-4 days of not being able to keep anything down and just when I thought I couldn’t take it, it would clear and I’d have several days of eating normally. Luckily it just so happened that it eased on 24th December and came back on 27th so I had my Xmas dinner!

This is very reassuring, thank you 😊

That certainly was great timing not to miss out on Xmas feast!

SoOtterlyLovely · 15/04/2025 06:20

@Writerscompanion thank you for that. Makes me feel better. I keep googling it and not finding much

xTinkerbell · 15/04/2025 09:51

i’m 11 weeks tomorrow, last time i felt nauseous at all was 10&2 so feeling very anxious

Writerscompanion · 15/04/2025 10:17

Ugh I’m coming back for a bit of a whinge as the sickness and breastfeeding my toddler has been a massive struggle for the last day or so. She was fighting bedtime last night and I had to unlatch her and run to be sick (she was lying with her dad) and for some reason it really upset her and then she was inconsolable for ages. Didn’t go to sleep until 11 and she was then basically latched all night. I’ve only been able to sip tiny bits of water and couldn’t keep anything down yesterday so I don’t know where the milk is coming from! Feel so weak and nauseous today, I’ve sipped a protein shake while lying down which was one of my go-tos last time and now I’m trying to stay completely still as I can feel I’m going to start puking again. Thank god she’s in nursery, I don’t know how anyone manages first trimester with a toddler at home all day!

I have no idea how you're doing that, you deserve a medal! And you've definitely earned a whinge! I don't have anything helpful to say but just remember you're doing amazing and you've got this xxx

MuddyMoments · 15/04/2025 13:05

You are a superwoman @Writerscompanion as others have said you’ve got this. It’s so hard isn’t it with a toddler luckily mine is in nursery today too. I’m starting to panic that soon my OH is going to be working away with one night away each week so hoping my nausea and general unwellness eases soon as I’m feeling bad I’m losing my spare pair of hands!

Writerscompanion · 15/04/2025 13:11

Oh no @MuddyMomentsa night a week solo sounds tough at this stage! I’m on the fence about whether to ask mine to stay home this evening when he’s meant to be out, it was just so hard last night with the sickness and the bedtime resistance. But we’ll get through! Fingers crossed you’re feeling much better by then.

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 15/04/2025 13:50

Hi everyone! Can I join you all 😀

Due 7th November with second baby, its crazy how different this is to my first pregnancy! I expected to be tired running around after a 2 year old but wowzer!

Does anyone else have completely different symptoms to their first? With my son I could barely eat anything until about 17 weeks, this one I can't stop eating. I've also got really bad pregnancy rhinitis and swollen sore gums that I never had before, does anyone have any suggestions that could help?

Writerscompanion · 15/04/2025 14:08

Welcome @AGirlsNameIsAryaStark!

When I thought I was further on my symptoms seemed milder than last time but my dates got pushed back and now they are really ramping up so it’s more similar and the sickness seems nearly as bad. One thing I don’t have as much this time that I really did last time was the super sense of smell which I’m hoping doesn’t kick in as I couldn’t go in the kitchen last time.

ouch sorry about your other symptoms, I don’t know about those I’m afraid

JennyTig · 15/04/2025 15:15

Oh wow, hats off to you ladies with toddlers. Just thinking about how mine was when under 3yo tires me out, you all are amazing.

Just had my booking appointment today, I am getting extra growth scans throughout due to my first being low birth weight and will be consultant-led mostly. Feeling kinda good about that to be honest, I would rather be "over-cared" for than have anxiety related to my last pregnancy/delivery.

@AGirlsNameIsAryaStarkwelcome to the group! My symptoms are a bit different this time, my nausea started a bit later - although an early scan showed I also wasn't as far along as I thought - and it is much more on/off than with my first.

AGirlsNameIsAryaStark · 15/04/2025 15:35

@JennyTig @Writerscompanion thank you! It's all a bit surreal at the moment, we literally had a conversation at Christmas about having a second and both said not until 2026, so was very much a surprise and still hasn't really sunk in.

I'm also having a lot more appointments, scans and consultant led, I had a whole host of problems with my first including pre-eclampsia so feeling quite nervous this time round. We did a private scan at 9 weeks but still nervously awaiting the 12 week scan in a few weeks time!

Nikkix86 · 15/04/2025 17:43

Still struggling with nausea over here, can't believe I'm only 8 weeks and this could last for a while yet. Got a private scan on Friday which I'm really anxious for, just hope everything goes ok 🤞 so tired all the time aswell. Told my kids yesterday and they are all very excited

I’m currently 8 weeks too! Travel sickness bands have been my best friend lately, give them ago ☺️

Ohh I never thought of those! I'll try and find some thankyou ☺️

Leanne086 · 15/04/2025 23:14

Hi ladies seems like a lot of us are struggling with sickness and mum guilt for our other children. I’ve managed to get some antisickness pills that work better so feeling ok at the moment, they just half the symptoms for me which means not being sick all day and only a few times a day. I’ve also been taking liquid iron supplements and fluid Iv solutions, which I think are helping a little. Trying to do everything I can I minimise the sickness. (Last time I had to have 6 weeks off work and could barely function. ) The want to eat everything has now gone and meals are now harder as I’m not really fancying much. We had an early scan today and the little jellybean looks really good, measuring on point so 10wks 4days and we could see the heart beating and him/her moving around. So was really lovely x

Writerscompanion · 16/04/2025 10:50

Aw that’s amazing about your scan and seeing the movement @Leanne086!

Sounds like you’re being really proactive in managing things. Which meds are working for you, out of interest?

JJmamaRT · 16/04/2025 13:15

Hello lady's,

Tentatively joining with baby no3, due date 29th November but both Ds1 &Ds2 both born early due to abruptions at 35 and 33 weeks... so worried of the possibility of another early delivery xx

LauraEl · 16/04/2025 20:07

Hi Everyone! I’m 9 weeks, due 15th November. This is my 3rd, I have a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. Had a private scan last week, all was fine the baby was measuring 8 weeks 6 days. they did say I have a cyst on my left ovary, and to mention it at the nhs scan l… I’ve had the same symptoms as the last 2 pregnancies, food aversion/ nausea from 6 weeks, it’s easing now I’m almost 10 weeks. As long I’m eating I’m ok! Feeling way more tired this time around running after 2 little ones, but I will have to get used to it adding another!
thought I’d do a post on here so I have people to talk to, only told close family/ friends atm!

JennyTig · 16/04/2025 20:11

Welcome @JJmamaRTand @LauraEl🙂

Nice to have you all here - I find WhatsApp groups a bit overwhelming at times so it's nice to see people still popping up here.

@LauraElwe match due date based on my last period date! Sure that will change on my 12 week scan though as I was measuring a bit behind on my 7 week.

LauraEl · 16/04/2025 20:47

@JennyTig wow that’s so nice! Hopefully we will still match after our 12 weeks scans! Mines actually at 13 weeks as they’re very busy 😅 how are you feeling?

SB1712 · 16/04/2025 21:03

Hi all. Can I join please?

EDD 25th Nov making me 8 weeks this week.
Reading all your first trimester symptoms has made me feel seen! I am really struggling, nausea, exhaustion, terrible indigestion/chest/back pain and have a toddler so horrendous guilt that I can’t do what she wants or needs.
I have only been sick once which offered some relief but this has been a wild ride and still so early I can’t imagine 5-6 more weeks of this!
