Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

Sadly for us it wasn't good news at my scan this morning. Will duck out of this thread but wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies 💖

I'm so sorry 💔 take care of yourself 🖤

EagerBiscuit · 31/03/2025 10:03

Morning!
6+3 today and first day I've not tested since the first BFP. Feel like it was making me more anxious.
I've got a scan later in the week at EPU and just need to keep my mind busy until then. 2024 wasn't a great year for us.. 3 chemical/early miscarriages so trying to keep the stress to a minimum if possible and keep everything crossed for good news at our scan.
💗🤞🏼

Good luck for your scan! I'm 6 weeks today and stopped testing last week because I was driving myself mad! I have a scan at epu on Wednesday 🤞🤞

I’m so sorry @lynzmb, take care of yourself xx

I’m exactly the same with the symptoms @HLouise94. I’m sure with my daughter I had full blown food aversion and super smell by now and not long before I was being sick. I’ve been worrying about how subtle my symptoms are this time but I fell asleep early with my daughter last night as well as taking a nap during the day and I’ve got mild background nausea. It’s hard to tell because I’ve also got one of my daughter’s nursery bugs. Last time I went off coffee suddenly, my OH brought it one morning and I made him take it away immediately! I’ve not got that yet but this morning the coffee smelt a bit weird, it might not be long before I’m off it again.

Scan on Thursday at 7+0 by LMP (but I think I’ll be behind that) and then telling my mum on Friday.

That’s good to hear that you’re in the same boat with symptoms. I think we have to remember that we are still very early days and things could all change very soon! It’s difficult when you’ve had previous pregnancies too as you just compare to those. I’m 6+3 weeks today and feeling tired and very hungry. I’ve got my scan tomorrow which I’m very nervous for. Going to go with a full bladder in the hope that they might be able to do an external scan rather than internal, but fully expecting them to want to do a transvaginal this early on! It caused spotting for me when I had one of those ones and really want to avoid that as it just will not help my already spiralling anxiety 🙈

Writerscompanion · 31/03/2025 10:28

Oh I understand the anxiety if that happened before. Our place say any scans before 10 weeks must be internal, I somehow missed that info last time and was very surprised by the method!

Yes I just keep telling myself it’s early days. I really want to crack on with some projects in case the next month/six weeks is a write-off with sickness but it’s hard to focus on anything else.

Nikkix86 · 31/03/2025 11:23

My epu also told me to go with a full bladder on Wednesday but I know full well at 6+2 I'll definately be having an internal scan 😅

CloudsInMyCoffee09 · 31/03/2025 12:45

This is going to sound so random but was anyone else aware you're not meant to go near sheep and lambs when pregnant??

I took my DS to a farm yesterday and we fed a lamb... now I'm freaking out that I've harmed the baby as I didn't realise it could cause serious complications 😩 I've had two miscarriages since November and I'll never forgive myself if something goes wrong this time and it might be my fault 💔 spiralling!

I did not know that but does explain why my midwife asked if I was going to
any petting zoos etc

Only because it was mentioned on here. I’m sure the chances of anything being passed on are really really small but it’s understandable to worry, especially with previous losses. My daughter loves going to the farm and I took her this week although I didn’t touch the animals and we washed our hands. They have to give this advice to err on the side of caution but the number of incidences must be tiny.

I'm glad yours knows about this, my EPU didn't know anything about it, I was fobbed off in a nurse appointment this morning and I've just managed to get a GP appointment by ringing 111 and luckily speaking to an advisor who used to work in vetinary medicine so thankfully she totally understood.

I feel like being anxious from previous losses makes people take me less seriously because it must be my anxiety and i have to fight for the best interests of my baba 😞

Thank you 💕 I stupidly stroked a lamb that came over to say hi and now I'm cursing it 😅

Writerscompanion · 31/03/2025 12:55

Also I’ve just remembered we petted the goats at London zoo a few weeks ago before I knew I was pregnant. I’m sure it’s fine. I just googled and it says seek medical advice if you have flu-like symptoms or you think you’ve got an infection after visiting a farm. It’s good that you’ve got a GP appointment and hopefully that can put your mind at ease.

Nikkix86 · 31/03/2025 13:06

I think as long as you washed your hands etc you should be fine 🖤

CloudsInMyCoffee09 · 31/03/2025 13:26

Thanks both. I do have flu like symptoms, but my DS has been under the weather for a few days so it's more likely that. Just feel it's better to be safe than sorry hence me pushing for an appointment x

If it will put your mind at rest it's definitely the right thing to do x

Leanne086 · 31/03/2025 15:32

the sickness has fully kicked in and blown me backwards today, I wondered how long it would take, 🫣 will be on the phone tomorrow morning asking for anti sickness tablets as I get it so bad and cannot function otherwise, x x

Nikkix86 · 31/03/2025 18:22

Oh no I hope they can give you something. I made fajitas for dinner and cried because I forgot to buy the wraps 🤣 I don't know what's wrong with me

LozTol1 · 31/03/2025 18:47

Is anybody else just HUNGRYYYYY all the time!!!! Mixed with nausea and non stop napping😅

Writerscompanion · 31/03/2025 18:52

My nausea has ramped up a notch today with a couple of retches which I’m taking as a good sign. I’ve been non-stop nibbling to keep it at bay, I can recommend mature cheddar with hot honey as a nice combo.

Nikkix86 · 31/03/2025 19:15

I am hungry all the time I'm going to put on about 6 stone at this rate 🤣 I had a good hour and a half nap last night, probably be the same tonight 😅

I was throwing my guts up this morning and felt nauseous all day... the only time I don't feel sick is when I'm eating something beige so I'll have to be extra good when I get to the second trimester! 🙈

LozTol1 · 31/03/2025 19:23

@Nikkix86 this is my issue! I don’t want the healthy stuff I want like sausage rolls pasta burgers…. 😫. I will have to make up healthy eating in 2nd trimester haha xx

XMummyTo5X · 31/03/2025 19:26

yes i feel hungryyy all the time but my problem is i just dont know what to have 🤦🏻‍♀️ & when i fancy something to eat i dont enjoy it 😂 and i like to enjoy my food! haha x
