Anyone else for November 2025 yet? Technically I'm due Halloween but highly likely to be a first half of November baby assuming everything goes well. 3+6 today and I've known since Tuesday at 3+3! Roll on double figures and feeling a bit more secure in it all.

@lavafieldyes with my 2 daughters I had early scans but had too wait and extra 2 weeks for another scan with both as they couldn't confirm viability with both at the first scan so trying to hold out to avoid unnecessary stress. With my son I was sent for a gynacology scan as my periods had stopped and couldn't figure out why and discovered I was 14 weeks pregnant never had a positive test with him still baffles me 10 years later lol x

Wow, no BFP at 14 weeks pregnant! Our bodies sometimes surprise us!

That's fantastic news! What a relief.

xTinkerbell · 25/03/2025 15:25

@Nikkix86 @Taysonic @XMummyTo5X Thank you, she had a good look and couldn’t see any obvious cause of bleeding other than a very tiny amount of leftover implantation blood so said it may have been that but there was nothing concerning to see.

I’m 7 weeks, 6 days

xTinkerbell · 25/03/2025 19:07

@Taysonic just realised you’re here from the ttc feb thread! good to see you here

Hi, can I join please?

This is baby number 5 for us after a partial molar pregnancy in August of last year, found at 12 week scan, currently 4+6 due 26/11/25.

I have joined the WhatsApp group, glad to have a community who understands the anxieties and are going through the same thing ❤️

LittleLinnet · 26/03/2025 06:55

Hi everyone- I’m new here and I was hoping to join in, too. I’m very happy and am managing to somehow keep anxiety at bay but I wanted to share what’s going on to see if anyone has a similar experience or advice?

I got my first positive test after 3 years of trying this week. It feels totally unreal. My husband and I have been diagnosed with dual factor infertility and were advised it was very unlikely we could conceive without ICSI. I have been losing weight since november, and while I’m down 3.5 stone, I’m still a ways off ideal weight. I also tested for low progesterone and am in the process of having my thyroid meds regulated (my last test showed I was off the chart hypo). I’ve self referred and included all this and was advised to make a GP appt. The GP can’t see me until well into April. I’m wondering if its advisable to wait to have my bloods, and also I need a 5mg rx for Folic Acid. Should I be patient or is there a way to be seen before?

Thank you and congratulations to you all!

madasahatter96 · 26/03/2025 07:27

@LittleLinnetfirstly huge congratulations!

Does your local hospital have an early pregnancy unit you could possibly call them for advice?
Or are you under a consultant for fertility?
Or can you call your doctors for a on the day appointment?

lavafield · 26/03/2025 07:34

@LittleLinnet congratulations! I would try and push for a professional opinion (EPU, GP, your NHS consultant or private consultant..) asap in your situation, as you may need to start taking progesterone and check again on the thyroid side of things in this pregnancy

I am going to ring the consult number on the email from my self referral and see what they advise. My back up is to try for an in person appointment tomorrow morning. Thanks for these recommendations!

@lavafield this was my feeling, too. I guess I was just looking for confirmation that I’m not being overcautious. Thanks for replying - I’m going to contact the enquiry line on my self referral email this morning and see if they can advise.

Writerscompanion · 26/03/2025 09:00

Welcome and congrats @mummyof4girlsand @LittleLinnet. I got my 5mg folic acid from my GP when we started TTC.

Thanks everyone for the support yesterday. I’ve done a Boots pink one this morning and it’s a dye stealer and much stronger than the first ones I did so I’m feeling a bit better that my HCG is at least going up. Just have to make myself wait until Sat now for the CB digital.

XMummyTo5X · 26/03/2025 09:06

MuddyMoments · 26/03/2025 10:58

Hello, please can I join too? I found out last Friday I was pregnant with our 2nd. It came as a bit of a surprise with the strongest line and then I got 3+ straight away on a digital test. To be honest due to my irregular cycles everything has moved very fast.
I could’ve of been as far on as nearly 13 weeks so I had an urgent scan on the NHS yesterday as they needed to know. Turns out it’s like I expected and I’m approx 5 weeks 6 days today. On the scan they saw the yolk sac and fetal pole as they would expect at this stage and the fetal pole was pulsating which indicates a heart beat. Although they can’t give me an exact due date yet and I’ll have to wait until my 12 week scan, it’s looking like November all been well. Also because of all this I’m seeing the midwife tomorrow for the first time.
In terms of how I’m feeling I’m struggling already with nausea, it’s getting worse each day 24 hours a day and I’m struggling to concentrate. Getting worried they missed seeing two in there.

Hope everyone is feeling ok x
