Pregnancy test

Hello,
I came off my pill end of November and had withdrawal bleed straight after. I have not had a period since this and it’s been over 4 weeks. I did a pregnancy test yesterday and this morning with what looks like a faint blue line. The line appeared after 3 minutes and has stayed. I also did a digital test this morning and it says negative. Is it just to early for the digital clear blue to show?

@ava124 my pink dye tests from 11dpo and then about 14 dpo. I’m sure you are pregnant tbh.

Think I just convinced myself it can’t be right and the clear blue ones must be wrong but as I haven’t had an official period after my withdrawal bleed I thought I’d test and was pretty shocked it had a line tbh so wanted to see everyone else’s experiences with tests. Thank you for everyone’s help and comments. Really appreciate it

First response ones are better than the clear blue! clear line on it. Digital I’ll try again next week

You're at the same stage I was at so don't panic! My tests were all showing positive, but the digital ones. The most painful thing was waiting a few days but you can do it! I cried when the digital finally said pregnant as it was a huge relief

Okay thank you! how far along were you when the digital showed? I’m not sure if it’s just my hormones very early stage but I’m feeling sick. Which is originally why I tested as I was potentially late on period and feeling sick/ gone off lots of foods

@ava124 about a week minimum from my first positive test. But your tests look very similar to mine just before it showed up on a digital. I'd honestly say your just a few days before me! :) I'm 5 weeks 3 days

sorry to keep messaging back 😂 so if the lines are showing stronger the last day or so I am probably only 2 weeks pregnant? I’m guessing I ovulated around 14 days ago

Personally, your tests look like mine when I was about 4weeks 6 days. I believe you should be having a positive digital very soon, maybe even tomorrow with first urine! But every body is different, everybody has different amounts of HCG. Some ladies take a test and it's immediately a dark line that screams positive, some have to play the waiting game

Your pregnancy starts the first day of your last period, not your ovulation. You usually have your period about 2 weeks before you ovulate, so your about 4 weeks. It's a lot harder to work out as you technically didn't have a "period"

If you ovulated 2 weeks ago you would be dated as 4 weeks pregnant. You always add 2 weeks on from ovulation.

@ava124 congrats! Remember you always add 2 weeks to those tests, so your 3-4 weeks pregnant :)

these clear blue lines look like mine I'm currently 9dp5dt so 14dpo and I'm so worried these lines should be darker :(

Have you done other brand of tests other than clear blue? The clear blue with the cross on was lighter on mine to begin with too. Mine was really light on the first day and 5 days later darker on the clear blue and a few other tests and a digital saying pregnant. Maybe try the first response test with the pink dye? These all look like lines though, so I’m sure it’s fine! it does says on the tests a line is a line if it’s blue shade.

My lines didn't get darker for over a week, before finally they did! I was testing every morning, and cried when it got darker.

I think they are clear lines though! The lines are clear to the eye and not so faint you can’t see them. Maybe just try and get some pink dye tests. (Doesn’t have to be first response) I found the pink dye ones easier to read. I’m saying this now but I was stressing out over the 5 days and worrying about the lines so I totally understand. Have you tried digital to? Think you have be further along for digital, I got 2 negatives on digital but once I got a darker cross on the clear blue the digital said pregnant 1-2 weeks the day after. happy Christmas!
