EPAU scan at 6+3

Been having pains in my very lower right hand side. Booked into EPAU on Tuesday so according to last period would be 6+3. What can I hope to see? What did you see at that stage?

Hopefully you’ll see a gestational sac contacting a fetal pole (tiny beginnings of a baby) and a yolk sac. You may or may not be able to see the heartbeat flickering on the screen at that stage.

Well all they saw was a gestational sac with nothing inside, so that was pretty horrific.
