We had our scan this morning and little blob is measuring just right at 6 + 4 and we saw their heartbeat 🥺

@californiacooper I have hourly panics, let alone daily 😅 - I feel like most of us here probably do. It’s an absolute rollercoaster and I keep swinging wildly between expecting the worst at my scan today & being excited for potential good news. I don’t have any extreme symptoms either and whilst I’m incredibly grateful I’m able to function more or less normally, it is also a real mind f**k! Yes I have been nauseous but it’s tailed off a lot this week, yes my boobs have been sore but that also has tailed off…

I guess I’ll find out in just over an hour 🙈

So happy all is well! Just waiting to go into mine now😖

@Lillers ha not a chance of that in this house! On top of working (only 2 days a week tbf) I also daily... muck pigs out, walk the dog twice per day, clean the house, cook all the meals and I'm always running around after extended family etc etc. Tbh I'm not good at people doing for me and never have been so I just get on with shit regardless unless I'm absolutely definitely not able. Don't think I've ever had a sick day.

We do eat out a fair bit and have takeouts but that's about where my DH help ends. His answer to everything is just 'get a cleaner' but I'm so house proud I don't want to (and I've never found one that cleans like I do) It's fascinating how we all live such different lives.

Ah it’s reassuring to hear a lot of you are having anxiety dreams too, obviously I would wish them on nobody but it’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one.

@Bakerbean at least I'm not alone. I think having the scare earlier in the week unnerved me as it became real how tenuous it all is at the moment. It really is Schrödingers pregnancy until the scan is done isn't it! I am fully convinced I am both pregnant AND not pregnant. Good luck for your scan today!

@MudandMoet your life definitely sounds full on. No rest for me either, I'm just going for a walk and then I'm doing office work all day. DH is thankfully (and luckily for me) both a clean freak, and a chef in a former life, so he's always been amazing at home.

@Decaffe yes Thursday morning, I blocked off 10.30-12.30 in my diary without writing the exact time. So I'm going to turn up at 11 and hope for the best. If there's a heartbeat when I go back.., I presume they might discharge me until 12 weeks?? I haven't done the booking or anything like that yet. I guess they didn't want to tell me anything about that yet just in case. I just got a pregnancy of unknown viability" information sheet. Which weirdly for me who googles everything, I haven't read

@californiacooper office work all day on a Saturday 😫 that's not much fun for you, hopefully it will keep your mind preoccupied for a while. DH can rustle up a good green Thai curry but his culinary skills ends there. I guess I make like hard on myself as living on a farm and wanting a show home tidy house don't really go hand in hand. It keeps me fit though!

@MudandMoet In normal life I’d love to live on a farm (going back a couple of generations we had farming in the family so it was always in my mind that I should go back to my roots eventually) - right now though I’m very grateful I don’t! Don’t get me wrong, I’m normally very active - work a hard job, marathon runner etc, but I’ve just been so wiped out for the last week or so that I’ve been completely incapable of doing anything. You sound like an absolute superwoman and you have my full respect!

Also measuring 6w4d and got a video of their little heart beating!🥰

Normal Saturday here for us - DH works so I have to ferry the 2 kids around their various activities. Nausea not as bad as yesterday but thankfully but feeling quite scared as my high waisted jeans are definitely tight - I’m only 6+4!!

@Ifyouknowyouknowyouknow I’m 6+2 and already given up on jeans - currently wearing a midi dress with my yoga pants underneath! I know it’s only bloat etc but I definitely look pregnant today 😂

We have a wriggly little bean with a healthy heartbeat & limb buds 😭🫶🏼. Measuring one day ahead at 8w+6. Unreal ❤️

I just had a surprise call from the hospital, they asked me to come in right now for my booking appointment. Didn’t expect to be seen so soon and with so little warning, I’m only 6+5. Midwife was very nice, but my fears came true and I couldn’t contain my sickness any longer and vomitted during the appointment 🤦‍♀️ At least it was a midwife appointment and not a client meeting, she assured me this happens all the time, but I was still embarrassed.

@Lillers i can't do trousers or skirts. Dresses are the way to go now for me. Xx

@Cinai oh bless you. Sure they experience more than we realise with seeing all these women struggling with pregnancy sickness x

Is there anything you all miss doing now you’re pregnant? I used to have weak saunas, and cold plunge in the sea afterwards. The extreme hot to cold is said to be so good for you! (Sounds horrendous I know lol) but it’s not recommended during pregnancy 🥹 also miss using certain skincare too!
