Anyone asked for a push present or getting one? My mother asked what I wanted for my push present lol and I have no clue

OP posts:

Are you bitter about having C-Sections or something?

Why would I be bitter? What's wrong with c sections?Ive got 4 beautiful kids who I had this way for health reasons. It's not something I beat myself about. Do you think it should be?

And actually, having a c section saved mine and my eldest child's life. I almost died in childbirth.

I'm a mum of 4 and never had one or asked for one, but I've had 4 c sections so maybe I'm undeserving of a " push" present.

I don't think you're unworthy because of a C-section. Everyone knows the recovery period is harder. I've had two vaginal births by two men and no push presents but tbh I find them very cringe either way 😬 The best present to any new mum is naps, microwave meals and a supportive partner (the last one should be a given but often isn't) I don't think I could've worked up any enthusiasm for a gift after giving birth either time 😂

They were referred to as "Push Presents" when my eldest was born 12 years ago.

DH bought a dishwasher. He thought it would be useful. (He was right!)

Omg amazing! That's exactly the kinda useful thoughtful present you need
