Is anyone pregnant after Ectopic ????

I've just found out I'm pregnant.
I had an ectopic in April last year, this was surgically managed and lost my left tube.
I am absolutely shitting myself it's another ectopic 😔😔.
The hospital has booked me in for the 14th March for an early Scan. Has anyone got any success stories with have successful pregnancies after ectopic ?

We are in the same boat, have been trying for a baby and have taken a test… it’s positive!! Early stages at 4 weeks but I am
so nervous. I had an ectopic last June and left tube removal. The worst thing ever. Previous to that was an early missed miscarriage. Now, 8 months later we are here again.
I am so nervous but also trying to be more positive with this one! Let me know how the scan goes. Wish you all the luck!

Me too! I had a ruptured ectopic at the end 2020 and lost my left tube and ovary. I'm now 14 weeks pregnant 🤰

@11234Holly . First of all massive congratulations and wishing you all the best for a sticky bean. Like you I do feel more positive with this one. Alot more symptoms and the nausea today is something else. I'm 5+2 today. I keep getting pains where I had my ectopic and reading other ladies comments think this could be normal but still any little pain is freaking me out . I will update after scan on Tuesday. I lost my right tube in October 2022, just found out I’m pregnant again and absolutely terrified it’ll be another ectopic pregnancy x

Thank you 😊 congratulations to you also! Yes, feeling nausea and I’ve only just ate, but I like the signs. My tummy won’t stop rumbling overnight; hard not to overthink it all? My immunity has plummeted and left me with the start of a cold, but to me that’s my body preparing? Not long to wait for your scan, keep us updated! I’ve booked my 6 week in 2 weeks, such a long time to wait! Sending all the rainbow dust your way 💛

Honestly, i can relate to your uneasiness. I'm finding it hard to talk about with DH until I've had my scan. Obviously, I keep telling him how sick I'm feeling 😅and how much my boobs hurt. Sending all the luck in the world 🌎 🙏 ❤️

Believe it or not, my first sign was that I came down with a cold for 48 hours, and no one in the house had it , I thought it was a bit off and decided to test . 4 days before AF was due and got 1-2 weeks on CB digi. So was shocked to say the least. Then comes all the anxiety 🙃 😕. The time seems to drag whilst waiting for the scan doesn't it 🙄. Please keep me updated on how things are going with you and your scan when it comes around 😀💗

We are with you on this lovely community, it makes me feel at ease listening to stories on here, it’s hard to get excited but the same time a blessing. How far long are you hun, have you got a scan?

Oh you had a cold too! Yeah I got over a cold and last week it came back. So I was like what’s wrong with me, was was waiting for the missed period though. That’s amazing when you had a feeling and it was a good result😊 not a fan of the waiting game! Is anyone checking each time they go toilet too 😞 oh the worry.

Have you all got placement scans booked in. Earliest I could get mine was 6+2 and I’m panicking as I ruptured at 5+6 last time x

Oh bless you with the cold, at least we know our bodies were working hard to accommodate the bean 😊The waiting game is awful 😖 but checking EVERYTIME like a mad woman when I go to the toilet 🤣.

I have a scan on Tuesday 14th at 9am so nice and early.
Dreading the next 3 days wait though its going to be hard to concentrate on anything but that. I will be 6 weeks exactly.

Have you spoke to EPU or GP ?

Yes it’s EPU that have booked me in as they are aware of my previous ectopic, she did say they’d see me sooner if I had any pain or bleeding so I’m just hoping that I’ll be ok to wait.
All I can do is hope and pray 🙏🏻

That's good at least they have booked you in, and yes the EPU also said they would see me earlier if needs be.

Honestly the wait is awful and know how you feel, go easy on yourself and try not to give yourself a hard time. Us mumma's have to go through alot . X

@littlelove23 I called and they can only do from 6 weeks as she said it’s a clearer view. Less can give false results. 2 weeks is a long time! We can do it, take 1 day at a time 😘

It was amazing news, ladies. Bean is in the right place and got to see the heartbeat flickering ❤️I am so made up 🙌🙌. X

aww yay! This is such amazing news, I am so happy for you. Must of been an anxious moment even waiting to be seen. There is hope :)
my symptoms have amped up since turning 5 weeks, I’m not interested in any food, just turned down a sausage sarny! That never happens. Hope it’s my bean cooking and not some virus!

Hi Ladies. I’m devastated to say but feel it’s the only way to get off my shoulders, it looks like we’ve lost the baby. I’ve started to bleed and my test hasn’t moved from 2-3 so it’s not developed and I’m loosing it.
just had to wait for the scan next week, now the scan is a completely different thing altogether. Hope it goes well for the both of you, mine wasn’t meant to be 😞

@1234Holly , im so sorry but please don't give up hope. Some tests do not move its completely normal . Bleeding in early pregnancy is also normal.
How are things today?
Have you been for a scan yet?

@Kezhoust2586 hiya, I know I was hopeful for a bit but it’s progressed some
more and a bit TMI but there is clots and a fair amount, each time I toilet. I can’t believe it’s happened again, this is my 3rd loss.

The woman’s EPU advised I keep an eye on my bleeding and attend Monday as my
scan was booked for Weds. Going to try for Monday 😔 I have a feeling it’s gone and we’re just trying to come to terms with it as last time I was hopeful. Il keep updating and if there is a miracle I will be massively shocked. X

my tests have stalled at 2-3 too and that’s what happened with my ectopic so I’m not feeling very hopeful. Please let us know how you get on. Don’t rule yourself out just yet? How many weeks are you? Xx

@littlelove23 thank you 😞 are you having any other symptoms? I didn’t have with my ectopic except brown spotting to start and it was a lot of back and forth with the hospital last year as one point they told me it was viable.

Apparently, the weeks on the test isn’t always accurate, so don’t worry to much on that.

Im now 5wk 4 days. But started to bleed Thursday, so not sure it’s progressed past 5 😔 will let yous know. I think it’s bad news.

@1234Holly No not many symptoms at all really. I’ve had intermittent pain on my right which is my tubeless side but I had that prior to being pregnant.
I did another FRER this morning and I don’t think it’s progressed much at all since the one I did 3 days ago.
I just wish I felt pregnant or atleast had some symptoms.

You're definitely not out yet, try and stay positive until you know differently. Plenty of women billed in early pregnancy and everything is ok. I’ll be crossing my fingers for you x

@littlelove23 you may not be getting the early symptoms yet, which could be a good sign. Is this your first? How many weeks are you?

Yeh not yet, I feel it that I’ve lost, I’ve not stopped bleeding since Thursday and continued today, no cramps though just
bleed. Going to be seen hopefully Monday as EPU said I have to wait 5wk4 and I am now. If it’s loss I just want the next step out of the way now. Thanks for the hope I appreciate it x
