I've just found out I'm pregnant.
I had an ectopic in April last year, this was surgically managed and lost my left tube.
I am absolutely shitting myself it's another ectopic 😔😔.
The hospital has booked me in for the 14th March for an early Scan. Has anyone got any success stories with have successful pregnancies after ectopic ?

@1234Holly -This is my 4th pregnancy (only one living child) and I’ve had sickness at this point in all, apart from the ectopic. I’m about 5+1 I think!

I hope your scan goes ok and you get some answers! Sending lots of love xx

Hi @Kezhoust2586 , thanks for checking in. So an update ladies. Last Monday I thought it was a loss and due to bleeding I couldn’t think of anything else. Turns out I have clotting under my uterus and baby was there! At under 6 weeks! I couldn’t believe it and was in shock most of the next few days.

I’ve now gone to my scan today ( 6wk,6days) and it’s grown! It’s got a flicker of a heartbeat and it’s developing! It’s a miracle and I’m shocked. I’ve still bled and there is blood still there, but it’s to be under caution as we don’t know what the bleeding can do at this stage. Im going again next Monday for another check up scan! I’ve not written on here as I’ve been to nervous.

how are you guys getting along? X

littlelove23 · 27/03/2023 21:50

@1234Holly Thats wonderful news. I’m so pleased for you. Fingers crossed all goes well for you.

I have my placement scan tomorrow, I’ll be 6+2. I am absolutely terrified. X

1234Holly · 27/03/2023 22:21

@littlelove23 thank you, just trying not to overthink every little thing and wait for the next check up, which feels like forever!

oh really, sending you lots of positive your way. Let us know how you get on. Not surprised your anxious but get some sleep and it’ll be here before you know xx

littlelove23 · 28/03/2023 19:46

@1234Holly Been for my scan and pregnancy is in my uterus. Bit concerning that they think I’m measuring a week behind, which I know isn’t right as I know my dates are spot on. They saw a gestational sac and yolk sac but no fetal pole yet. He did say, he ‘thinks’ he sees the start of a fetal pole but didn’t want to confirm that it was the case as it’s too small to measure.

Im happy it’s not another ectopic but now worried I’ll miscarry as my dates are so out. I have a rescan in 2 weeks so more waiting around and being anxious!

how are you?

1234Holly · 28/03/2023 20:25

@littlelove23 that’s good are you 6 from the dates? You may be a bit earlier than you are thinking, I had exact dates and it was measuring slightly smaller and now it’s been a week it’s the right size. So it might just take that week/2week further to develop ☺️.

I am so glad ectopic has been ruled out for you, take that as a positive. How are your symptoms? Any odd signs?

Im okay thanks, got brown spotting now so it’s eased off a bit, but that still worries me. I’ve got another booked Monday ( due to my clot which they are being cautious about) Very nauseous the last 2 days so I think that’s good symptoms! X

littlelove23 · 01/04/2023 15:36

@1234Holly Thank you. I’m hoping that’s the case. My symptoms seem to have disappeared the last couple of days which just makes me worry even more!

When is your next check up? Xx

LozzaB88 · 02/04/2023 22:17

Hi ladies

I'm new on here and keeping all fingers crossed for latest posts.

I had an ectopic left tube removal (I was 8 weeks) on 14 March. Advice is to wait 2/3 cycles to try again however, with my body being more 'fertile' I'm gonna try straight away. I have shown as 'fertile' on strips... Has anyone else experienced pregnancy immediately after ectopic before the 'first' cycle post ectopic? Took me 16 month to get pregnant so sorry if I sound crazy!

Thanks

Not currently pregnant but had a ectopic back in 2006 surgically removed first pregnancy was a long time ago but i know hearing stories of hope is so nşce when you are going through it and ive gone on to have 3 babies since

upretidivya · 03/04/2023 10:21

Warm hugs for you.
I am 28 years old and 5w5d pregnant.
I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2020 in which I lost my tube. We just started trying to conceive so this pregnancy came as a surprise.
I have been super worried and anxious about this pregnancy, and I am having pain on my lower abdomen and back and this is scary.
Yesterday evening and today I had some spotting that took the hell out of me, so I went to my doctor, she did a quick scan and to my relief the implantation is on the right place this time. She gave me medication and two injections following 15 days medical leave from job.
Just praying this pregnancy will last without any complications.

Your rainbow will be there soon...

1234Holly · 03/04/2023 13:39

@littlelove23 the symptoms easing off may not mean the worst, might be your body adjusting :) and not as strong as they usually are. When is your next check up?

I had mine today and everything is on track for just under 8 weeks 😀 heartbeat was clear to see. There is still concerns of a blood clot but it’s almost like the body is trying to break that up by the looks of things. Hope it continues! x

littlelove23 · 03/04/2023 14:39

@1234Holly Thats amazing news! Bet it was amazing to see the heartbeat and good news that clot seems to be sorting itself 🤞🏻🤞🏻

In my failed pregnancies my sickness has always gone and that’s been a sign of impending doom for me. I’ll try thinking positive but if I go to my next scan and there’s a baby in there I’ll be genuinely amazed. My next scan isn’t until the 12th so it’s just a waiting game now! Xx

1234Holly · 03/04/2023 14:47

@littlelove23 yes, so relived, was a bag of nerves this morning. Thank you x

I’m wishing you all the best of luck, I hope the symptoms are just different this time, sending lots of rainbow dust x

Lengokengo · 03/04/2023 15:14

I was born after my mum suffered an ectopic pregnancy! Still here 50- odd years later!

Klou06 · 08/04/2023 13:14

Hey! I had an ectopic pregnancy last year September 2033 and ended up having left tube removed. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant again and I’m absolutely petrified, I have my scan this week and I’m an absolute mess. Any advice would be great 🫠

1234Holly · 08/04/2023 16:59

@Klou06 first of all many congratulations!

It’s a nerve wracking time, but be positive and feel happy it’s a good result. I completely understand how you must be feeling, I was a wreck and also bled so I thought id lost it. But it was all fine! Let us know how it goes :) not long to wait.

Klou06 · 08/04/2023 17:09

Thank you! It’s so hard to get excited for obvious reasons. I keep thinking do I look at the screen or do I not, do I just put headphones in lol

littlelove23 · 27/04/2023 17:43

Bad news for me, after a scan at 8 weeks with a lovely heartbeat, baby had passed by 10 weeks scan. Wishing you all the best of luck xx

1234Holly · 27/04/2023 21:05

@littlelove23 I am so so sorry hun, to get your hopes up for the previous scan as well, I am heart broken for you. Take all the rest and time you need and I hope it’s not the end for you, sending my thoughts xx

littlelove23 · 27/04/2023 21:08

@1234Holly
Thank you. I’m ok, I’m pretty hardened to loss by now. I think I was expecting it to go wrong from the start. I’m just glad I’m not losing a tube this time. I have surgery booked in for tomorrow to remove the pregnancy as I’m still feeling sick and my body hasn’t recognised the loss yet.

I hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy xx
