Hi all, i thought I’d reach out to see if there are any others moving over from the infertility message boards who fancy a chat?
A bit about me - 4.5yrs TTC, almost 3yrs IVF, 2cycles, 5 transfers, 1 chemical and finally my BFP. Currently 6+6, had my first scan earlier this week measuring at 6.3mm and given due date 8th April.
would be great to hear from others in a similar boat.

@MamaOh thanks for the bump and wishing you all the best for you hcg tomorrow, what result did you have for your first bloods? So sorry to hear of your losses, it’s so so tough. Were you not tempted to speak with a specialist about your losses? Keeping everything crossed for you tomorrow

I thought I’d be giving both in April 2023 after a FET on July 19 but currently having stress. I had a scan last Saturday was told I’m 6w4d and saw yolk sac and told to return in a week. This week I’ve I’m now only 6w6d and still no heart beat. I’m so sad after multiple losses to be going through what is possibly another loss.

Hello everyone, nice to see a board with others in the same boat so thought I'd jump on! I had my early scan last week and found out I'm pregnant with twins after a double transfer so feeling extremely lucky and also freaking out a bit! Both had a good heartbeat though so trying not to be too anxious! Sorry to hear about those of you with previous losses and going through tough times. Wishing everyone the best of luck moving forward with their pregnancies!

Hi all, sorry for slow reply- we’re currently on holiday atm so haven’t looked at my phone much. How’s everyone doing?

@MamaOh how are your hcg results looking? I’ve heard lots of great things about professor quinby so fingers crossed your appointment goes well.

@Sharishari really sorry to hear of your previous losses and that this round isn’t going as smoothly as you had wished. What are the next steps for you, are you going back in for another scan? Did the test your hcg too? Sending lots of positivity to you and hoping you receive some more reassuring news soon.

@truetotal wow, twins, congratulations that’s wonderful news 🙌 Had you done many transfers prior or did you just know you wanted to transfer 2? That must have been extra exciting to see on screen! Have you been given an expected due date based on your scan etc?

OP posts:
truetotal · 22/08/2022 12:51

Thanks @MamaOh best wishes to you too!

@Agapanthus13 it was actually my first transfer so feeling very lucky. It was the embryologist who recommended 2 because they were quite slow developing so statistically their chances were quite low. Just goes to show though! It was amazing to see on the screen, DH was over the moon! I did wonder because my fatigue has been pretty extreme so it was good to have an explanation for it! My due date is 5th April although I'm guessing it'll be before then with there being 2!

PMAmostofthetime · 23/08/2022 16:41

@Agapanthus13 We have been on previous boards together! Congratulations on your BFP!

Hello everyone
I am 7+6 today and very cautiously optimistic . Due 5th April- I have already had 2 scans due to bleeding.
Thankfully all measuring ok and saw the little heartbeat flickering yesterday. I have my official viability scan next Wednesday at my clinic as the others were emergency scans via EPU.

Was scared to join a thread but definitely need some support I'm also going to tag some others from my thread who have had BFP!

Hello! We have been trying for over 4 years, getting on for nearly 3 years of IVF. Our 4th transfer was finally successful. Apparently due the 26th of April and l am 5 weeks tomorrow. Feeling a bit anxious and nervous but excited!

LKSF · 23/08/2022 17:00

@PMAmostofthetime thanks for the tag 🥰

Feels a bit scary jointing this thread 😱
I’m Due 7th April (according to the ivf calculator)

Im currently 7+4, I had a scan at 6+4 and they seen a little heart beat ❤️ They seen another sac but they think it was empty, I’m going back for another scan on Thursday(7+6) to confirm it’s just the one and not a twin pregnancy!(they’re pretty sure it’s just one but they just need to be 💯as they couldn’t get a great view)

Congratulations to everyone on this thread and hoping, wishing, praying that we all have smooth positive pregnancy’s xx

PMAmostofthetime · 26/08/2022 07:58

Hi all, how are you all doing?
What's yours symptoms like?

What date are you all Due? Do you have scans and appointments yet?

I am due 5th April according to the IVF Due date calculator.
I have my official viability scan on Tuesday 30th August.
I'll be 8+6 then I'll be transferred to my GP for midwifery services.
I have Nausea, food aversions mainly to meat, fish and curry or anything spicy, sore boobs and the tiredness is unreal, also moody even though I'm super happy but nervous.

How is everyone doing?

Agapanthus13 · 03/09/2022 18:52

@PMAmostofthetime sorry for the radio silence, I’ve been away on holiday and feeling really rough. I saw my gp yesterday and they’ve prescribed some meds for sickness so hopefully they will help. I actually managed to get up and out the house for the first time in a week and feeling much better for it, albeit absolutely shattered.
hiw are you doing?

im 9weeks today and my app is saying the amniotic sac has about 100ml of fluid in there- so amazing, so whilst embino is still only the size of a ‘strawberry’ that explains why it feels much bigger I guess! Love reading the app info but I need to choose the time wisely as I felt soo sick reading about it this morning 🤣 Hope you’re getting on ok x

@Agapanthus13 Sorry you have been feeling so unwell. Hope the medication works for you. I'm 9+4 today and completely exhausted constantly. I wake up between 3-5 to empty my bladder and then can't go crack to sleep. Feel like all I do is nap. My Nausea comes and goes. Only been actually sick about 5 times and have bad Nausea today so can't even imagine how your feeling. X

PMAmostofthetime · 04/09/2022 18:04

@Agapanthus13 which app are you using? X

PMAmostofthetime · 09/09/2022 18:34

Anyone else's clothes too tight? I've always been a 6/8 throughout meds a solid 8.

I'm 10 weeks and 2 days and none of my jeans fit me- burst the button on a shirt dress today. How do people hide until later?
Is it because it's an IVF pregnancy?

There's a lady in work- 17 weeks pregnant and still in her size 8's

Feel huge today x

LKSF · 09/09/2022 19:39

Hey @PMAmostofthetime I’m normally a size 6/8 too and definitely going to have to invest in some size 10 jeans at the weekend!X

PMAmostofthetime · 09/09/2022 19:43

@LKSF I tried they wouldn't do up either 🤣
How far along are you? X

LKSF · 09/09/2022 20:30

@PMAmostofthetime oh no 🙈 I’m living in legging tbh. I’m 10weeks today. Got a scan on Monday 🤞🏼 x

PMAmostofthetime · 18/11/2022 10:31

How are you all? I've had my 20 week scan and all is ok :)

LKSF · 18/11/2022 13:51

Hey @PMAmostofthetime ! I had my 20week scan this morning and all is good too! I can’t believe that’s it now until 36weeks 🙈 How have you been feeling? Did you decide to find out the gender in the end?

Agapanthus13 · 18/11/2022 14:23

@PMAmostofthetime @LKSF I had my 20weeks scan on Wednesday. Sounds like we’re all very much on the same schedule! Baby was all ok which was great but my placenta is still low and covering my cervix which has caused some stress the last few days. I’ve got another scan in 2weeks and was then told every 2weeks from 28weeks.

there’s another chat group with people due March / April who’ve had Ivf, I’ll see how to send the link you. Chats pretty thin these day as I think everyone’s just setting in to their pregnancies but You might like to join in anyway xx
