Hi all, i thought I’d reach out to see if there are any others moving over from the infertility message boards who fancy a chat?
A bit about me - 4.5yrs TTC, almost 3yrs IVF, 2cycles, 5 transfers, 1 chemical and finally my BFP. Currently 6+6, had my first scan earlier this week measuring at 6.3mm and given due date 8th April.
would be great to hear from others in a similar boat.

@Agapanthus13 thanks for tagging us in the other thread-I’ve missed not having the frequent mums met convos 😊
Oh really, I didn’t realise that was a thing…did they say if it can move at all ?sorry that’s it’s added some stress, but alteast everything is ok with baby…that’s the main thing 🥰 I found out today I’ve got an anterior placenta so I won’t feel kicks as much. The reason you’re having a 28 week scan and then every two weeks, is that because of your placenta? I was told I won’t get nothing now until 36weeks xx

Agapanthus13 · 18/11/2022 14:47

@LKSF apparently a low placenta is quite common with ivf pregnancy, so I think mines similar to yours but just extra low. apparently most move up so fingers crossed ours will- do you then get a scan in a few months to check it’s moved up?
im not fully clear about my scans, the midwife told me about the ones from 28weeks before the placenta was noticed so I need to check what they’re for.
did you find out the gender? We’ve opted for a surprise was funny to think the midwife knows and we don’t!! What’s your due date?

@Agapanthus13 ah ok, no they said at the scan today it isn’t blocking ‘the exit’ so it’s fine as it will only move up and not down. We had a private scan at 16weeks(I was getting anxious waiting to see if all ok) so we found out then that we’re having a little boy, I also asked them today to confirm just so we didn’t have a shock lol. I feel a bit anxious already that I have to wait 16weeks for another scan 🙈 xx

Hi ladies ! I'm ivf graduate and due in April 2023. Needles to say , this pregnancy is like walking on egg shells and having an anatomy scan in a week, which I'm anxious about..

Hi everyone,
Had my DS in 2020 after one failed fresh transfer and a successful FET.
I'll be 39 in a couple of months and just had another FET on the 5th of april and I feel like it's the longest 2 weeks of my life. We are under an amazing consultant whom we used for the last successful cycle. She is so detailed in her approach and applying learnings from my previous cycles to ensure that all relevant meds are taken.
I am currently on 8mg of Progynova, two cyclogest pessaries, 25mg Lubion, clexane and a "host" of dietary supplements. High amount of progesterone because my progesterone level was low at the start of my DS' pregnancy. She picked it up early and increased my dose back then. This time around, she's not leaving anything to chance.
It's only been two days but I feel like it's Ben two weeks! The days are crawling...
I'm really hopeful and praying that it's a successful cycle

Thanks for resurrecting this! I had twins in the end. We had girls -quite sure they are non-identical. What a year! I hope everyone is doing well. Apart from being exhausted!

PMAmostofthetime · 30/03/2024 20:32

@LKSF I know I'm not ready for this 😭😭😭.

@EL8888 How amazing, when were they born?

X
